I am looking into their program and the tuition seems high priced especially for not knowing if the program works.
Is this place reputable or rip off?
Thanks

My sister is quiting her job. she is a chef at the restaurant for 3 eyars and she does all the work very good but the people there are not treating her good and the boss is very 2 faced and unfair. The boss never pays the vacation paychecks until u ask for them, and even monthly paychecks sometimes bounce.

now she is quiting and she doesn't know what papars seh has to get from her boss to certify her leaving and what else does she have a right to receive? the last payment, the payment for the next 2 weeks? the vacation paycheck for this year, a paycheck for the health injuries she got(lifting up heavy meat)?

please share what you know about this and give any advice. thanx

I work as a 19 year old hotel operator at the Hilton, this is my first write up, should I be worried about my reliability as an employee? Will this effect future oportunities, or am I just overreacting.

I'm a part-time associate and have been since I was hired. Often I work 34 hours a week (full time is 35) and the next two weeks i'm scheduled for 40 hours. This is not the first tmie that I have averaged well over full time hours during a single pay period? Can I require them to cut my hours back?

I wouldn't be eligible for any benifiets i'm interested in (health Insurance) until I've been at the store for a year. I just want the time to myself to spend with my family and try to employ myself.

I'm in north carolina if that makes a difference.

Yes, I am going to teach Kindergarten after working in the county Jails for 4 years. I have been told that I would be a great teacher, even from the inmates, it is where my true passion lies. I am not worry as I know that I have a great talent with children and a lot of patience from my previous job experience! I just thought I would take a pole of reactions, since I know this is shocking to some!

I have been working with Walgreens for 6 months. I am 50 years old and have been begging them to give me more hours per week , then just 13 hours. I notice on the schedule sheet that most of the younger workers get full time even though they started work there after I was hired. Do you think age discrimination is happening here?

This woman I work with seems to always make me look bad or foolish in front of others. She even makes up stuff
...like saying I throw stuff at her and when I told her that I have never thrown anything at her and asked what she meant by this...she said I throw papers down roughly in her tray...which is an out and out lie. I always place them gently in her tray, always. I don't do anything roughly. Well, since she has lied about this I have really had my guard up and she comes in late all the time, like 10-15 mins. and sometimes 30-45 minutes or so. We are both temps and our sign-in time sheets are on the same clipboard together and I couldn't help but notice that she signs in 8:00am (the time we're supposed to be there) even when she gets there much later. I'm the front desk person so I know when everyone arrives and leaves. She doesn't stay late to make up the time and she doesn't take a short lunch, so...this has made me wonder

Hello, I worked in a bank for 2 years. I recently relocated so I was forced to find a new job. I took a job at what I thought was a nice community bank. Here is the problem- last week I was told I may be supbenad (sp?) to court. I'am responsible for every single deposit I take. So for instance if a customer has had an account with us for years and years and have good account history- if I deposit their checks and a week later the check comes back NSF, the bank DOES NOT take responsibilty for it- I DO. Does not sound right to me at all. Should I quit my job now before I put myself in a sticky situation? Please let me know what you think
=-)
