This woman I work with seems to always make me look bad or foolish in front of others. She even makes up stuff
...like saying I throw stuff at her and when I told her that I have never thrown anything at her and asked what she meant by this...she said I throw papers down roughly in her tray...which is an out and out lie. I always place them gently in her tray, always. I don't do anything roughly. Well, since she has lied about this I have really had my guard up and she comes in late all the time, like 10-15 mins. and sometimes 30-45 minutes or so. We are both temps and our sign-in time sheets are on the same clipboard together and I couldn't help but notice that she signs in 8:00am (the time we're supposed to be there) even when she gets there much later. I'm the front desk person so I know when everyone arrives and leaves. She doesn't stay late to make up the time and she doesn't take a short lunch, so...this has made me wonder

Also, I saw that she actually changed one of her sign in times from 8:45 to 8:00am...now, that is ridiculous and I know it's ridiculous that I know she does this but when you don't trust someone you notice stuff like this. And she handles company money because she works in accounting ! I wouldn't trust her with my money because she even lies on her time sheet...no telling what she'd lie about. She's trouble and I guess I should just sit back and watch her hang herself. You can't say anthing about people like this because then you look like a busy-body. I just don't trust her and I don't like her at all. I don't even think my boss ever sees her time sheet because the H.R. person gets them and does payroll. If he does see it and still lets her keep doing this, I just don't get it. It's not right.

She is worried you will get hired in permanently and she won't.

Don't let her rile you, just be polite and sugar sweet and start carrying a micro recorder in case she goes ballistic on you.

As for the timesheets, she is stealing. Do you have anyway to copy the sheets before she changes them? I would if I were you, the other thing you can do is to save all your interactions with her for 8am when she is not there. Pop back to her office to deliver whatever papers you are talking about and ask around to see if anyone has seen her. Eventually her co-workers will figure out that she is padding her timecard.

What a loser. Hang tight.

Unless you have badges which you swipe to log your time in/out (something to audit therefore), I think it would be hard to convince anyone in authority about her cheating on her timesheets. Of course, if you have built some credibility with your superiors, this may not be so difficult. You might mention it to your boss and then let him/her deal with it. If you and this woman are equal in rank, why don't you try confronting her about her lies? Or you can get one or two people to act as witnesses to her antics, thereby building a case against her. If none of that works, sneak some laxatives in her lunch. Good luck.

Well call it what you want too, But I would inform my boss..Because it's not right..and especially if she's an out right _itch...You already know...i would not hesitate to snitch on the lil scank....I can't stand women like that..try to be intimidating, But in reality she's weak and looking for someone she can get over on to make herself feel better.

Tell you boss and tell him/her to pay more attention to the sign in sheet..That she is stealing from the company..Casue that's what it is..She reporting time that she was not there..screw her I would tell...Immediately...Good Luck!!

by the way..don't let her get over on you and make up lies..set her straight, But in a professional way..Remember don't step down to her low class...

You seem to already know the answer, maybe you just want reassurance. Hang in there. She can't last long. Don't let her draw you in.
