I have a great job, but my manager micro-manages to death, and I just cannot take it anymore. We have all tried talking to her, fussing at her, but to no avail. She doesn't let us do our job. Iout sell her and make more commission than her almost every month , but for some reason she won't step back. One girl transferred within the company, another left for another position, and I cannot take it anymore. She is a really nice person, but a bad manager. I don't want to leave her hanging by giving a 2wk notice, but I don't think I can put up with her long enough to stay another two months to help her retrain a new staff. HELP!!!!!!

I have been a stay-at-home parent for a very long time. Currently I am working part-time with low pay...however I am assigned many projects. I have seen several colloge students hire for more wages and benefits all the while they leave in 3 to 6 months. My work ethic is strong and something that I pride myself on. They come in wondering where to eat lunch. What is the deal?

My husband has worked for them for about a month or so. It does have really long hours, but he is willing to work hard if the money is there. He is fortunate to have a somewhat "rural" type route where people don't have fast access to grocery stores which puts him at an advantage. Just wondering if anyone out there currently or used to work for them and could share their experience. Thanks

Why is it so hard for someone who just graduated college to find an internship? My mistake was not having one during undergrad. Now I am finding it hard to find a job. Do employers get some sort of benefit or tax break by having current students as interns?

I'm starting my own company for producing radio jingles, stabs etc. But I am unsure of what name to call it out of the following:

> LC Audio Productions

> LC Audio

> LC Media Productions

> LC Media

I have cut it down as you can see on both because I am waonder also if I would need the production bit in.. (I will be producing the work I do though)
And if you wondering why LC - Well that's my name (Lewis Clarke)
Thanks alot!

I'm incredibly imaginative, and I'm familiar with most of the kink that's out there. I've worked at a dispatch for phone sex, but their rule is that people who have been part of the dispatch office can't be one of the phone actresses for that company.

Any suggestions?

The thing I really want to know is when they ask me how much do I expect to make, what should I say? Like what is a good annual salary and hourly wages. And I don’t know the first thing about bonuses. I don’t even know what that means! I need help there. And benifits too. What about those? What are good benifits to have. What should I expect?

I’m 24 year old woman and I have been working as coustomer service representitave (answering phones) for the past 8 years and I will probably be working behind the cash register or stocking shelves at Books a Million so I guess I don’t have experience there.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Like if you have been hired by BAM before? If you have what did you get paid and what benifits etc.?

Any general job interview advice?

Thanks everyone! You guys are so smart. You make this my favorite site!

I love languages. I want to learn a lot of languages and want to use them and such. What could i do? a linguist comes to mind, but what exactly do linguists do? any other ideas? I have wanted to be a surgeon for a while now, but i love languages so much, and that wouldn't be too helpful, well i mean it would, but it would take too much time to learn both a lot of languages and go to med school. thanks!
