At the end of the day, we want to be happy. To be happy, we like to do things that we enjoy. However, we need money to do many of the things we enjoy - travel, movies, etc... And we need money to get a big house or a fancy car (which some people may enjoy). So money helps people enjoy life (but doesn't automatically make them happy).

So we need to get money to be happy. Unless we are born rich, we need to work to get money. You can work at a job you like, or a job you don't like. You can choose where you work, and can quit if you're not happy. Even someone without an education has a lot of options available to them - cashier, clerk, laborer, driver, military, mailman, etc... So to really be happy, you need the money to be happy, but also a job you enjoy, since you spend so much time at work.

I feel you. We work so we can have things. It's funny--when I first got my license, I bought a car. The only place I drove it was to work. But the only reason I had a job was to pay for the car.

Realistically, we work to buy food, to clothes ourselves, to take care of the people we love. But at 4:45pm on a Friday, when I'm still at work--I don't know WHY we do it!

We work for a lot of reasons. I work to provide groceries and medical expenses My husband works to provide the house payment and utilities.

If you don't work who will pay your bills? If you are living with someone who supports you are they willing to continue to support you so you can stay home?

Have you thought about a career change? Perhaps you need to look into a different line of work.

I want to work because I love what I do and the thrill of solving problems and learning something new everyday. :) Wish I could work more. If my business picks up (which I am sure it will) well.....I can't wait.

I like to eat. Starving sucks! Not to mention that camping gets old after a week or two.

Good to have a home.

2 Thessalonians 3:10
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

Basically, if we work, we eat. If we don't work, we starve.

Do not think that you are working, just think you are playing a game and take fun of it.
