I have a great job, but my manager micro-manages to death, and I just cannot take it anymore. We have all tried talking to her, fussing at her, but to no avail. She doesn't let us do our job. Iout sell her and make more commission than her almost every month , but for some reason she won't step back. One girl transferred within the company, another left for another position, and I cannot take it anymore. She is a really nice person, but a bad manager. I don't want to leave her hanging by giving a 2wk notice, but I don't think I can put up with her long enough to stay another two months to help her retrain a new staff. HELP!!!!!!

I've never heard of two months notice....I know that you dont want to be a mean person but 2 weeks is all you are required to give. So put in your 2 weeks and stop worrying about it, it's not your problem if they can not find someone before you leave.

two week notice is standard policy.. Some companies have the no notice policy where you can quit without any notification. If you've given the 2 week notice, that's plenty. If she's a manager, then she'll deal with it. Don't spend any time worring about her, and spend more time for youself. You can try to transfer to another section if you really like your job but not your boss. Just make sure that the next place you go to isnt worse then where you are now. Weigh the pros and cons first

I think it is considered professional to give a two week notice, and although you are going to go crazy if you offer that much time, it is advisable, especially if you don't have another position yet. Plus she might go behind your back and say some nasty things if you leave without giving a notice. Find another job first, don't tell her and ask the new people that if they are interested in you to let your know so you can advise your boss before they ask your boss what type of employee you are. Then, let her know that you are professionally growing and are looking into advancing. You have no obligation to stay for 2 months!

First, find a new job. A lot of people get so fed up they quit, but then they have no money coming in. That's a problem, so don't give into your emotions - find a new job first.

Then, give 2 weeks notice, assuming that is what your local laws allow.

Remember, these are companies. If they thought they could get along without you, they'd lay you off (or fire you). They might feel bad about it, but bottom line - no more paycheck for you. Do what is best for you. If you give 2 weeks notice, no other company will think poorly of you later on. 2 weeks notice is more or less standard for the US nationwide (once again, I assume you are in the US).

A two week notice is standard, unless you're in a manergial position. However, companies are different in what they prefer, you should check your employee handbook for what notice the company wants you to give.

No thats no longer criminal to fee you . What they could do is withhold any price they owed to you in case you probably did not supply them any be conscious. Youll have tyo discover out how a lot be conscious youll ought to grant It couold be one or 2 weeks and youll ought to positioned your resignation in writing and delivers it to them and save a duplicate for your self. in case you merely leave and they owe you a weeks pay or besides the reality that than you probable wont get it. you could declare in courtroom for the money yet as its probable low paid it probable wouldnt be properly worth your at the same time as. My suggestion ought to be to adhere it out for onbe better week and hand them a letter of resignation at present. If its that undesirable take a pair of ill days on the top of the week and merely artwork your very last day

First, find a new job, then a two week notice. It is not your problem that you'll leave her hanging since you had tried to help her change.

You can put in a 2 weeks notice. It's not like your'e gonna stop working as soon as you put in your notice. Also, that gives her ample time to find a replacement.
