I'm 23, I work in the casino business as a poker dealer. Most of my co-workers all have degree's of somesort. One has a bachelor's in biology, another has bachelor's in geology, a couple of them have bachelor's in communications. They all have degree's but they don't have job's in their field. One of them actually has a chemical engineering degree, and he worked as one for 8 years but he quit because it was too boring, but he said it was good money. I know it depends on what field you get your degree in, but i'm not sure what I want to do. any ideas? I'm halfway through school, should I finish?

I am a Bankruptcy Paralegal for a firm that handles Criminal Defense and Bankruptcy Law. I would like to do a little side work as a Petition Preparer and offer individuals a lower cost option. I cannot offer legal advice or complete the process like an Attorney can, although I can draft all legal documents concerning the Bankruptcy for a small fee.

I have never signed anything with my employer as to side work.

Could they sue me if they found out? Fire me??

I have been at my current job since August of last year. There is a very high turnover rate where I work. When people leave, there is generally a cake in the break room. Today I received an email from a co-worker who sent this to a select few. I was on the list but uncertain of why. Our co-worker is leaving. I have had very limited contact with her. The email asked for an $8 contribution toward a gift that costs $92 and a lunch also. The lunch will be part of our team meeting. I really can't afford to do this because we are in between paydays, but also-no one else has received this treatment. Would it be best for me to scrape together the money, and play nice in the sandbox, or just write an explanation to the originator of the email? I don't want to cause waves, but I know they are inevitable.

Hi!
I am looking for the sites to buy nursing scrubs for reasonable price.
Also is there any kind of chart or website to help you match the scrubs colors-top with pants?
Thank you

I always say "Hi guys" no matter what the people are. It's funny because sometimes girls get affended. I don't want to use "HEY YA ALL" Because that sounds....well, not like me. Nor do I want to say "How's it going folks!" Because....Folks?? Come on now, that sounds like something you would say in the 1900's. I thought I could say something like "Hi everyone" But that sounds like there's a lot of people there. What if there is only two.

I just got offered a better graduate assistanship then the one I have already accepted. Now I want to retract that acceptance. What's the most polite way to do that? They still have about 2 months to find a replacement before semester starts.

Lets just say I missed the bus a few times in life and want to get back on track. It is my understanding that it takes close to 10 years of schooling to become an architect, and I would be starting very late in life. By the time I'm 42, I will be starting my career as an Architect.
