Wear professional-looking clothes. If you have a suit, wear it. Otherwise, wear nice pants, slacks or trousers, in black or grey - if you have to, you could pull off khaki, but I'd recommend a darker color. You could also wear a skirt, but it must be modest, I'd recommend one that goes at least to your knees, and wear panty-hose. Wear a nice shirt, preferably a button-up, collared shirt in white or a light color. Wear closed-toe shoes with a small or medium heel. Keep your makeup and jewelry simple, no facial jewelry. Good luck!

For sears may I suggest sear sucker slacks, with a double knit wash and wear polyester top which is both binding and enticing at the same time. Also wear a bra but no panties, as visible panty lines are a definite carreer killer.
Also you could walk around in sears and see what the sales associates are wearing.

Check out what they are already wearing, then wear something a little nicer than that for your interview. I recommend dressing up a little nicer than the current employees if possible. A skirt is nice if appropriate (nothing really short), and a nice professional blouse (nothing too reveling). Dress like you would for Sunday with your grandmother at Church. Goodluck with your interview!

You should wear the kind of clothing that you would wear on the job. For this kind of position, avoid T-shirts, no tank tops, bare midriff or sleeveless shirts or blouses, no low cut necklines. No jeans, sweats, sandals or flip-flops. Conservative and modest is the rule of thumb. Check the store to see what other cashier/salespeople are wearing. Especially for interview, err on the side of caution.

wear, Long black dress pants that are a little "flarey" at the end, its really trendy and classy. Then a pretty camisole (the kind that look like bed room atire) with a form fitting buttoned suite jacket that comes to about your hips. and a nice pair of pointy shoes. This looks like you know how to dress in style while being classy and professional at the same time,.

Flat front khakis/slacks with a nice shirt (maybe a nice knit ro a button-up).
No bare shoulders. And wear stylish yet comfortable shoes. If you were to get the job you'll be on your feet all day.

A good rule of thumb for any interview is to wear what you would at that particular job. ie..dress slacks or a nice skirt/blouse at a department store.

Dress casual..nothing too flashy or too loud. A nice pair of slacks with a nice blouse would be ok if you're not comfortable with wearing a skirt .

I would suggest a pair of nice black pants and a button-down top. Always professional, but not too serious. A skirt might be too dressy, and jeans would be too casual.
The pants can also be pinstriped or brown, but definitely not a bright, busy color.
Good Luck!
