I got my paycheck its not big because i dont work many hours because i go to school. My paycheck was 325 deposit i had an overdraft of 110 which i believe is wrong because when i went to pull out $ from the ATM it said i had $ money in their and when i called the bank. When my paycheck got in i called and it said i have $139.19. I dont think thats right 139.19 out 325. They said i had another overdraft from a company taking out my $ and i didnt know so i called and the company gave me back the refund which was was only 7.99 But what do i tell the bank they took out more than half of my money when they shouldnt have. Everytime I call the bank its says i have money even the reciepts from the ATM say i have $. I dont understand how could i have these overdrafts when my reciepts say i have $ and so did the bank. What do i tell them to get at least half of my $ back?

I do not recall having this credit card. I did file a bankrupcy around that time and it is not on the creditors list filed. This credit card is for over 5,000 dollars and I think I would of at that time rememberd to file bankrupcy on it if I even had this card! 16 years later they contact me (NCO financial systems) and the interest is over 13,000 dollars! When I called them, the only proof they had on this chase/assignee of providence mastercard was that a payment of 110.00 was made in July of 1992 and thats all they have. That is not enough proof for me. When I called Chase, there is no such account number. What are my rights? I dont think their going to stop hounding me about this, I received 2 bills, and the interest is increasing!!!

Please help,
Kim

So I can refer back to. What I would like to know is what exactly this proposal should say and how to word it and what are some key factories to incorporate in to it. Also I know that I should probably get a contract with the compnay for either a year or 6 mos. How should I bring this up at the meeting and if you could think of anything else please let me know anything that will be helpful!!!!! Thanks so much in advance.

Im new to stocks i haven't ever traded online. However i have used many virtual trading programs and i have a good concept on how trading works. I believe i am ready to start the real thing. Im attracted to brokers like zecco because they say they have 10 free monthly trades and about 4 dollars for each trade after that. However it leads me to believe that they must not have many good services for customers. Then i looked into trade king. Because they seemed to have better trading tools and service, still with a low commission fee. However since i haven't ever traded online im not familiar with the problems im going to face. Please recommend me a internet broker i should use. Thank you for your help.

PS. I have $5000 USD to invest, loosing this investment isn't that big of a deal to me. My main goal is to learn. and excuse me for my spelling errors I typed this fast. =)

Last year in February, my sister moved into my apartment with her four kids (two are hers by birth and two are her boyfriend's kids) My sister didn't lose her job, but she has been saving money, so I had been taken care of the bills, food, and other neccesities. I have been buying clothes for all four kids. I do not want to commit fraud in any way, so I'm asking is it possible for me to claim the two children that are not hers

I would like to know why banks can hold paychecks?

I know there are laws saying they can hold paychecks. How can the government think this is fair? I deposited a paycheck into the account on Saturday (Before 2:00). The teller said it had no hold - but failed to mention it was considered a Monday deposit.

For the most part we don't have a problem because we use direct deposit. This was one check unfortunately that could not be directly deposited.

They claim that Saturday isn't a bussiness day so it will be considered a Moday deposit so it will be available Tuesday AM. We spent some money and our account is considered overdrawn.

How is this legal?
How is this fair?

It's a paycheck. You need your paycheck to live!!!

I am trying to write a letter of grievence about my manager, and have a meeting with the owners of the company that I work for.

I have specific instances of lack of knowledge of job skills. Personal retalation and discussing poor performances with co workers, are also some the things that I need to write about.
Poor work ethic, and personal sexual innuendo are also involved. Passive aggressive management skills and zeroing in on one specific employee at a time, along with favortism are also some of the complaints of the staff.
We have a very hostile work enviroment, coupled with disassociation in the workplace.

How should I start?
Should I list specific instances that I am personally aware of, even though it includes my co workers, and not always myself?

Thank you in advance.

If you think about it, we consumers are being gouged. Compared to how cheap those old razorblades used to be (the whole ones you loaded into a razor and flipped-around when one edge was dull).
All the modern ones consist of is the smallest pieces of steel embedded in plastic! Sure they work, but so did the old ones!
Whiskers haven't changed!!

I've decided just for fun because I've NEVER played scratch off tickets before (I do like to gamble for fun other ways once in a while) to buy $50 worth of scratch tickets to end the year (money I can afford to have fun with). I've narrowed it down to two different $10 tickets.

Jumbo Jumbo Bucks: I'd have 20 numbers to match against 6 numbers. Odds are 1 in 2.56 (I know that includes break even prizes which is OK with me). 66 of 90 to prizes have been claimed (73% claimed).

OR

Jingle Jumbo Bucks: I'd have 20 numbers to match against 6 numbers, BUT I also would have a chance to win $100 if a jingle bell appears in any of the 20 spaces. Odds are 1 in 2.74 (0.18 worse than Jumbo Jumbo Bucks). 2 of 4 top prizes have been claimed (50% claimed). Also this is a newer game so it could be assumed less prizes have been won overall.

Which ticket gives me a better CHANCE at walking away with more than the $50 spent to play?

I live in Massachusetts and I am in the process of buying a bank foreclosure home. The inspector said the heater isn't working so he won't pass it... so I am trying to get the bank to take off $5k off the house to cover the cost for installing a new one. The agent is the middle man and he said that the bank won't take off anything.... Should I take his word for it or is the bank suppose to put in the heater in order for the inspection to pass?

I'm a first time homebuyer so I have no clue. I'm taking a first time homebuyer class in a week but I just wanted to get some opinions on this.. Thanks.

As anyone on Social Security will tell you even though they get a bit more money each year it is far less then the cost of living. So yes the Federal SS system instead of being cut off at once is being fazed out and state aid is replacing it so to speak. The deal with State aid is you can have little assets in order to recieve it. So to live a decent life you will need assets outside of the Money system before you become disabled and have to live on state aid for some two years before you can get SS income started. Besides Gold and silver what some other things one could have to get monies out of your name.

I'm trying to get a new car (2008 Dodge Avenger SXT), and I have the money to finance it myself, but I have very little credit history established. I have two student loans in my name with deferred payments until after I graduate, and one credit card to which I have only made 3 payments, each in full.

The only person in my family with good enough credit to co-sign for me would be my grandmother. My grandpa died 2 months ago, so her income was cut in half - as she only is able to receive half of his pension and his social security and not her own anymore. We discussed her situation, and she has an income of 2200 dollars a month, with 750 dollars left over for frivelous spending (as in, for whatever she wants.. this figure is AFTER her mortgage, own car payment, etc.).

With my 800 dollar income and 0 bills in my name, would lenders look at our income TOGETHER to determine the debt-to-income ratio and grant us a loan?

And would we be able to get the loan?
