I live in Southern California, I have a major in HOtel management and tourism, and totally love the field of hotels. I love event organization, sales department (of hotel space, rooms, etc) Travel agency stuff (put together a trip, etc). . I have faimly that works for US Gov, and they say I would be hired immediately...but doing what? can I stay in my field working for the US Gov??? is there a particular job or area in the Government that I could do these things ?

A friend of mine has taken out a few payday loans and cannot repay them now that they are do. She plans on being able to take care of them within 30 days. Do these places negotiate or work out a reasonable plan and what if you put a stop pay on the account they would have access to if it was done online?

I am a bit worried about autheniticity of entire episode as they are asking me to pay 950 GBP towards this charges which they claim will be later reimburssed to me. I want to know if anyone else has received anything similar of this sort. Moreover that till now they have not asked any information about my degree marksheet and they are claiming that they will arrange work permit in 72 hours. I would like to know is it possible

My builder is giving $5000 towards closing. Interest rate is 0.125 to .25% higher.

We have a daughter together and we desided we wanted her to raise our daughter and not someone else(daycare). So she has been off work for exactly a year at the end of this year. I already know that I can claim my daughter but can I claim my fiancee since she hasnt had any income for a year and I am the main provider? On what all stuff we can negotiate with mortgage lender.

I'm dealing directly with Builders Mortgage company, my Credit Union and one other lending company.

There seems to be not much difference among them when I compared GFEs. So, is there any scope of negotiations?

Made $32000 this year then opened a ira with $2800 then cleaned it out. paid $8,400 in mortgage interests, filing married jointly and wife only made $5,000. Can anyone give me a clue.

I recently applied for a job where I will work 7 days on and 7 days off. During the week that I am not employed, the company could call me, although it is unlikely. What are some other jobs I could do during the weeks I have off? I am ok with hard labor and outdoor jobs. What all jobs are out there that are either flexible with hours or work one week on one week off? Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks y'all!!!

Here is my situation: I'm looking to make adsense money off of a number of adult sites. An attorney who is a family member files my taxes for me. I'm inexperienced with these things: Would there be anything that I would need to report (site name, description of site, etc) on any of my tax forms that could reveal the nature of these sites? Said family member would strongly disapprove.

Ok so I currently have a job working at a Motel at the front desk part time.I had recently applied for another job which was a lot better paying with full time as well as benefits.My husband really wants to see me work somewhere that I will have more hours and better money.I applied about 4 days ago and they said they couldn't get back with me until next week because for this line of work I needed a background check and when that comes back they could talk to me about employment.they told me to go ahead and put my notice in but i didn't because I wanted to make sure I had the job first.Well they called me today and want me to start tomarrow for the training class.But I work at the job I have now tomarrow.I can't put off the class cuz its mandatory to take.If I don't take it they can't hire me.My hubby told me just to up and quit this one but I don't like to burn any bridges.What would you do in this situation.Quit or stay and posibally lose the chance of a great oppertunity?

I am an undergraduate[freshman] and am a pre-nursing major. I was looking over the course that I have to take and there is A LOT of biology, chemistry, and 1 or 2 statistics classes. My question is how hard is this major? To me, these classes seem very challenging. (I am REALLY bad at Math)..I'm worried about how challenging this will be.
Also....my goal is to become a CNM..certified nurse-midwife. Once I make it into then nursing program, when will I start to learn about becoming the type of nurse I want to me..instead of learning the general stuff?

Im 18 and have no credit but want to build it for future use (i.e cars, house ect.). My father passed away when i was 16 and my mom has never been around so i dont have a co-signer. Also im very responsible for my age and i know all the risk's and factors of getting a credit card. And if at all possible i would like 2 avoid secured credit cards. In other words, if you make money with some online / home business type thing, how do you pay your taxes on that income ? is there a way to caluculate how much to give the IRS so they dont bill your for it later or what? because i kno at ma n pa places with a few employees they have a chart where they can do it by hand so i was wondeingr is it the same thing?
