I just watched Zeitgeistmovie.com. And some former IRS agents said that they could not find anywhere in the constitution or any place else where it was law that we pay Income Taxes. These two individuals say they haven't paid taxes since 1999. I thought that you went to jail if you didn't pay taxes? Or they would come into your home and take things that you own. Call me stupid but I thought this was how it was.

I see alot of people ask about how to make money but tend to not ask themselves a question, which is what do I enjoy to do. Alot of millionaires become wealthy because they make a hobby into money. So I think the key is to find what you are good at and then create a plan on how you can use those attributes to make money. I mean if you are going to be pursuing a trade to become wealthy and support you throughout life it should be quite entertaining as well. What do you think?

I did an interview for a credit card company on Dec 6th which was almost two weeks ago. The company told me that they would call me and let me know. I emailed them a follow up letter but received no response. I called them and the manager was out for meeting. I called them later again and the customer service representative told me that they would call me back since the company was moving, rearranging the desk, cleaning up.. I did not receive phone call yet. Is it better to call them since they havent told me verbally whether I got the job or not? Or are they using nonverbal communication although they told me that they would call me back twice? One of my friend works there but it took him almost two weeks for them to call him. I am assuming the same thing... but should I call them since they say they will call me back like twice? or do you think they are just ignoring instead of telling me directly? what is the best thing to reach them in a nice way and find out whether I got hired?

Does anyone know the deal on this situation in Kansas? What about if the creditor violated the FDCPA by divulging my business to a third party without my permission? Can I press them to leave me alone until I can get caught up on that basis? Does a creditor in the state of Kansas have the right to repo or do they have to do a replevin filing?

My last employer never received any garnishments and I worked there for 2 years. I have a new employer and I love this job. I really, really don't want them to find out about my debts - they are 6 years old, I just never have the money to pay them. Is there any way I can keep my creditors from finding out? Or at least keep them off the trail until I can get back on my feet and start paying a little to each every month?

I am currently in a position that I need to leave asap. I have been harrassed and disrespected since I first began over two years ago. I am set up with a staffing agency who is finding me a position to start immediately. I have come to peace with not giving notice (the state I work in is at-will). I worked at my current employer for almost a year, resigned and then came back and have been back for over a year. For whatever reason, the first time I was here, they let me use vacation time. I was here just under a year when I quit and I think it may have upset them that I used vacation time (even though it was all approved). Then, once I came back, for whatever reason, I had vacation time again. There was never anything formal written or said. I have never really quit without notice and am getting nervous about what this company might try. And I thought I heard the office manager say something like that, but there is nothing in the company manual.

I have a website in which I will be sending customers money. I want to send them through checks but I'm afraid people may try to rig the checks and put a false amount of money or try to scam me using my bank info on the check. Should I open a business account with the bank and will they allow me to issue checks with just the business name and not any personal bank info. that can lead to a scam? Or are there others ways to send the customers money without handling high transfer fees?

My best friend asked me to cosign a loan to help her buy a car, because her car was totalled and she needs a way to get to work. Since she moved across the country and only knows me, if I don't help her, she has no way to get to work unless I drive her, so either way I'm stuck having to help one way or another.
If I do end up cosigning for a loan, will that affect the chances of me getting a loan in about 7 months? I plan on getting a new car next spring/summer and will need to loan some money from a bank. If I help my friend by cosigning for a loan, will that affect the chances of me getting my loan?
I have good credit right now.
