Yes, you do have to file. File form 1040 EZ, your employer will send you your W2 by the end of Jan. It will have the total withholding taxes that were taken thru out the time you were employed.

File your taxes and you will probably get some of your tax withholdings return. You will probably need to a 1040ez form and it will take you about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Do not forget your state taxes either.

If you worked, you should file, if only to protect your backside from the IRS in the future. Besides, you WILL get back all the money withheld from your pay for taxes with that amount of earnings for the entire year.
That amount of income qualifies as below poverty and you don't owe any taxes.

if u have any federal tax withholding(box 2 on w2)then file.if u were a full time student for any part of 5 months in 2007,then let ur parents claim ur exemption
