you have to call the police and file a report.. Then call the 3 major bureaus and report it. Also put a Consumer Fraud Statement on each of the 3 bureaus so lenders will ahve to call you to open any more accounts

Call all 3 credit reporting agencies (TRW, TransUnion and Equifax) and put a fraud alert on your SSN - they will then alert you when new credit in your name is applied for.
Call your bank and let them know also. You may be directed to file a police report for identity theft.

Contact the credit card company immediately and tell them what happened. Then I would contact the 3 credit reporting companies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) and advise them of the fraud. Then you need to ask them what you need to do to keep this from ruining your credit.

Contact your local police. Don't wait to be told by the bank that you need a police report. The sooner the police get involved, the sooner this person will be tracked down.
