i am interested to find out how people startup their web browser? quick launch or auto start?

and what type of browser starts up the best on a cold start? also, what factors contribute to a quick start?

i start it up from quick launch, as needed. auto-start makes no sense, since i open and close windows all the time.

they're all about the same. honestly, i never even pay attention, since they're all relatively fast. i use IE7 and FireFox2.

what factors contribute...an old computer with an old browser (eg. pentium 3/internet explorer 5) or new computer with new browser (eg. core 2 duo, 2 GB RAM, internet explorer 7) - that's a winning combo. an old computer with a new browser, that's asking for trouble, just a bit.
