So I am working on getting my money back, to do so I have to prove that this company could not have worked on a case with the IRS like they have claimed to have done. The company has taken $1800.00 from me. I contacted www.taxcarepros.com on the web seeking assistance with dealing with the IRS about my past tax debt. Long story short, I handled my problem with the IRS on my own by arranging a payment plan. TaxCare Professionals at no point in time got my SS#, my W2's, a signed Power of Attorney, or a signature on thier "Payment Agreement" form. I tried contacting TaxCare until I was blue in the face about canceling whatever they had started (because they had already taken money from my account). It wasn't until a month later when they took another $900 from me that they finally spoke with me and told me it was just tough luck. I have proof of me dealing with the IRS on my own (a letter from the IRS). Could they have worked on a case without my pertinant info? please help my kids a xmas

i got an $200 item on ebay from this seller who has 25 feedbacks.
it's been more than 2 weeks since he told me he "shipped". but the tracking number this as*hole gave me is fake, and he won't reply my emails. and later, ebay sent me a notice not to pay this guy, but i already did.
so, i reported to paypal, they are reviewing it for me, i'm positive i'll get money back, but i just want to know where that $200 is coming from. is it from paypal? or is it from this as*hole's bank?

Has anyone here ever worked as a Merril Lynch Client Associate or know someone who has?

I have a telephone interview coming up and I would like to know if anyone has the skinny on what the job is really like, besides what I get from the posted job description.

What does the work entail? Typical hours? How much does it pay? Is there anything I should become familiar with prior to my interview to prepare?

I am looking to purchase a new house in Charlotte(Union County) NC that is listed for about 270K, I got the builder to go down to about 255K. But that is including 5k in landscaping money and 5k towards closing. So I really got only 5k off of the listing price of the house.

Is this a good offer and should I take it or should I counter offer with something lower? I mean with the housing market right now I thought that I could get this house for much lower but that's the lowest he's willing to go, at least that's what he is saying. What I would like to know is this a good offer and should I take it? Or should I counter offer? I was thinking about 240k. Please help, this would be the first house for me and my wife and I don't want to leave anything on the table. I would like to take full advantage of the housing market right now. Thanks.

working full-time at a place open 24/7, so you want to see all the employees (day/night/weekend shifts, all shifts run from 8-8) at some point every month.

I prefer working 12 hour shifts, that way get half of the month off.

1- What hours would you pick?
2- Would you pick to work the same days every month (with one Sat or something) or rotate your schedule?

A friend of mine recently started working, and one of the vendors wanted to do a credit check. He unfortunately has several negative credit items, and they replied back asking for an explanation. If he explained that he would be rectifying those items soon, and how they came into his history on account of identity theft, would they allow him to continue working?

In college this past fall my niece decided to move in with a few girls & split rent. After being with them for 3 weeks things got crazy. These girls had boys coming over all times of night, they were wearing her clothes without her permission, eating up food, drama after drama so she decided to move out and they stayed in the apartment. She found her own apartment and thought that she left them on good terms. The girls got violent, they harassed her, the sent threaten emails & phone calls, they tried to run her off the road one day, they bust out her windows and flat tires and this was a car that I loaned to her. I was afraid for her and she was afraid also. It took the cake when a guy out of no where started harassing her as well. She broke the new lease and now the landlord wants to sue her for being there for only 2 weeks. The landlord never gave her a lease copy anyway. The landlord demands $5,000 despite this the police reports. The landlord sees an opportunity for greed.
