Not specifically but:

1) If they are using a web based email (Yahoo, gmail, Hotmail, etc.) they are scammers.
2) If they contacted you through this, or any other, message board they are scammers.
3) If they require any sort of fee upfront, they are scammers.

TOTAL SCAM.

These scammers are most likely in Nigeria. They have spammed internet bulletin boards around the world with offers of cheap money. (The scam is pretty blatant in some cases as they forgot to put in a real email address and tell people to contact them at xxxx@yahoo.co.uk.)

It's a variety of scammers who use various free email addresses and a disposable cell phone that can get calls anywhere in the world.

If you give them money, you will never see it again.

Any loan company that requires you pay fees up front is a SCAM and should be avoided at all cost, no matter how nice they are, no matter how much they say they will loan you. They will take your fees, then either take off, or hit you up again saying there was a problem with your application, and more "security fees" are needed. Don't do it!!!
