I have my credit account set up to take the full amount of the the credit balance directly out of my checking on the 28th of each month. I have read many different things about building a good credit score. Does paying off the full amount of my credit balance at the end of each month help or hurt my credit score? (any other ways to build a good credit score for a person who just got their first credit card would be helpful too, thanks)

I have been seperated from my husband since Jun. I was just wondering when I do my taxes if we file seperately and if so what way do I file? I have a son. If I file by myself do I file single, head of household, or do we have to file married filing seperately. Any help will be greatly appreciated, and Happy Holidays to all.

we moved in this one year old house which was bought for investment so no one has lived in, the yard wasn't even done. We skipped the inspection since there was an "extended warrenty" on the house. During our own inspection I suggested that we take a night light and check every socket but I ran out of time so our "agent" who was also the seller's agent said he would continue and till now he still said that he did it. But the one block consisting of two rooms and a hallway doesn't work and electritian diagnosed to be a short in the wall, not from the socket. The buildr turned there back on us saying that it's been a year so all complaints expired. The electrician claims that it is "impossilbe" to locate the problem so they can only build a new one so warrant won't cover...I feel like the real state agent should be responsible but I don't know how to proceed!! Please advice.

I am based in California. The service/clients will be performed & located in various states throughout the US. I will be paid via 1099 via another company based out of Georgia. In effect I am operating as an outside sales company for the Georgia based production firm. Once the service is completed the GA company will mail/wire me a check and 1099 me. What company is best to form an LLC in? California, Nevada, Delaware? If I form an LLC in NV or Delaware will I have to file something to do business in the other states? THANKS!!!!!

alright, here is my situation. i have found an extremely beautiful engagement ring setting that i love. but the company dosent offer insurance..i plan to either buy the diamond from them also,or from another local store(i plan to spend about 3-3.5k).

when i spoke to the company over the phone, they said that they dont offer insurance but, i could put it under my home/renters insurance. well, that only covers if the ring is lost or stolen. i need that, plus if if any of the smaller diamonds fall out or whatever the case maybe. what im saying is, i need full coverage.

if i were to buy the ring from this company, and the diamond at.. say, jareds, where can i go to insure both the ring and the diamond? home owners coverage will not cover this..

sorry if this sounds like a mess. my soon to be fiance keeps bugging me to see what im typing lol.

I recently (in writing) put in my two week notice for my current job, so my boss knows that I have a new job and I am leaving. But he still insist that I work and he has me on the schedule and today told me that I can't leave yet cause he hasn't hired another person to take my place. How can I go inside and see a home that is going up for foreclosure before the actual auction? I hate biding on something that you haven’t seen the inside of. I moved into this apartment April 1, 2007. On May 15, he told us that he's selling the house. I was really pissed as I planned on staying here for a while and my kids love it here. Well, now, the real estate agent takes it upon himself to just walk into my apartment with prospective buyers. I only know about the 3 times its happened while I've been home. Twice I was sleeping and woken by a man's voice IN MY HOUSE! I've complained to my landlord numerous times, and explained that I'm upset, that this is my home and I feel as though I'm on display. What can I do legally? I know that they have to give me 24 hours notice before they enter, and they don't, so what do I do? I can't afford an attorney, so whatever I do, I have to do on my own. Please help, I'm so upset about this, I feel so violated.

I am looking to enter the medical field. I have a strong interest in both Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiation Therapist AND Registered Nursing. Im not sure which field to choose. I hear you make more money in the Radiation Science field, but don't want to go after just money. Can anyone in the medical field give me a helpful tip?? I used a self checkout machine at a grocery store yesterday. I put $70.00 in cash in the machine and planned to put the rest on my ATM. I swiped it, ok'ed that I did not want cash back and collected my groceries. The total was $79.33. As I was leaving I noticed on my recipt the total amount was charged to my card and there was no record of the $70.00 I put in. I was told to go to customer service which told me there was nothing they could do until tomarrow morning. "The machine should not have accepted the cash." It sounded to me like they thought I was lying! She took my info and said she would call me. I then asked for a manager. Manager came reviewed the video and said she could not tell if I put money in the machine. She said she would call early. This afternoon I call and they said they had no record of this. In short I got the money back after driving all the way out there again today( twenty minute drive). I am still very upset about the way I was treated. What should I do next

I have a tenant that I sent a " Notice to cure breach or quit". I sent it certified return receipt, and a copy through regular first class mail. They did not accept delivery and sign. Do I have to serve them again, or can I go ahead and sue for possession. I live in Indiana.
