International markets are following the US into the housing market abyss. If you can afford to stay illiquid for awhile, this could be a buying opportunity. If you can't, real estate investments could lead to your ruin.

There are two very different investment types here

Commercial Property

and Residential Property.

Residential property is a highly volatile gamble. Commercial property you need to talk to the experts about.
