during the holiday season UPS usually runs as late as 7PM delivering packages and as early as 8AM.

Varies depending on your area. Where I live, UPS ships until they've made their rounds (they stop around 6)
Call your local UPS store. It's not unusual for shipping to be late during the holidays. (As in, if it doesn't come today don't freak out)

My parents ordered my children a Christmas gift a couple weeks ago I was on the phone with them when they ordered it and it came the NEXT DAY ! They had the standard shipping...

Whenever I order, I forget to subtract the weekend days...I'm sure it will make it.
You can usually track the shipment on your Amazon page....check on it!

It would likely be sooner, but when it runs is dependent on where you are. Most often they arrive between 10AM and 4PM, but it can really be anytime from 8AM to 6PM.
