I have applied numerous times at a hospital at which I already work, internal applications, they have bullsh-itted me for about 2 months. I work PRN, and I get cancelled about three out of four times. Right now I am ready to apply at the local Sams club. I want to tell them that I'm sick of the sh-it and to cancel all of the apps that I have on file. What will that do? Is there anyway to politely ask if they have considered any further on my applications and if they haven't ask them to cancel them? Admin here, PLEASE REPLY! I've worked my a-ss off for the last 3 years to get where I am, and they don't seem to care. Right now, I am pissed off. Is it wrong to want to give them the ultimatum? Any hints about what to do would be wonderful and soon. Thanks

A friend gave me a gift card to sell on ebay (they don't have an account) and told me to send the proceeds to a specific charity instead of writing them a check, cashing it, then they have to write out another check to the charity. Can I send the proceeds to the charity and have them use the receipt from the donation at tax time for the deduction??

I am thinking about applying for a loan from Eric Smith. He is asking for a non-collateral deposit of 2.1% of the principal loan amount and states that this is legal as stated in the Amended Constitution Act 2004, Lending Policy 174/Ur.
Any information that anyone can give me regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

...or would I be forced to wait until I used up the first amount of money I put on it? Also, is there a monthly fee for having such a card? And does anyone qualify to get one (I don't have any debt or anything like that)? Finally, would the card be acceptable to use in Europe for hotel reservations and train reservations? Thanks!

I know lots of people have questions on this but here is my story anyways. I have two credit cards that I have almost paid off. On top of that, I'm only 23 years old and I have lots of medical bills that are unpaid. Besides that, I am paying payments on a car and insurance. Those two, I have not made any late payments. All of my bad credit stems from my past. I also go to school and need money for school so I don't have much to put towards my medical bills.

Bought a condo late this year but plan on changing my exemptions for the 2008 tax year since i would not have enough itemize deductions for this year.

Will be filing as single and estimate my mortgage interest will be around 13-14 thousand and my property tax will be $3,500.

How many exemptions should I claim, Last year I claim 1 and got back 500 dollars.

I think i should be filing 3 or 4. Is 4 too much?

I live in Illinois and work in Missouri, and my employer didn't withhold ANY state taxes throughout 2007 (even though I specifically requested the deduction several times).

As of my last check, my gross pay is about $25,000 and my federal withholdings are about $3,000. (I have a much better job starting in January.)

Unfortunately, as I am under 25 and don't have any children, I don't qualify for any earned income credits or child tax credits. I have, however, paid well over $2,500 in student loan interest throughout the year and purchased a home in May.

What will I owe for state and federal taxes, and are there any tax credits that I could qualify for?

I'm trying to get my credit in order. I'm 22 and have a credit card with about $3,000 on it. In March, I will have it down to about $1,500 and I was wondering if it would be better to take out a Sallie Mae loan for that much and pay off the card and act more cautiously with it, or just hang out with the interest and pay it off slowly. [I would like quickly, but that won't happen.] I do not have a ridiculously amount in student loans out and will be graduating in May.

Any opinions would help. Thanks.

I need to invest some money, with the intent of it producing an income. It would seem that starting a business would be the way to go, but I would prefer not to have to work (due to health & family issues) What about partnering with someone? Or buying stock? Any suggestions? And where could I go to get some advice, etc?

Hello fellow people of the Yahoo community. I am faced with a dilemma. My son is 20, he's on track after getting off track 3 years ago by dropping out and not doing anything but play sports. He's planning to attend Baruch College in NYC and major in Finance and investments to be a stock broker. 3 years ago, he made some stupid mistakes. He back then needed money to hang out everyday, so he went and opened a few credit cards in his name(with fake employment and income info) with providian and direct merchants, and opened accounts in my name with himself as co-user so he can use it. Right now, I am getting letters from debt collectors, and the first letter from a law firm attempting to collect a debt for Capital One. I'm about maybe 55000 in debt at the moment, and I am wondering if I report fraud, would he get in major legal trouble and be put away for a long time? Is there a possibility of him getting probabtion since he is a first time offender and had a clean record?

Does any one have any experience w/ debt relief.
My sister is in need of some help getting out of her mountains of bills due to a divorce and bad relationship decisions. She does not have the luxury of obtaining a loan to help, due to her terrible credit.
I told her to file for bankruptcy but she wants to avoid that route.
Anyone have experience with this.
