My credit card company has an option for free bill payments but my bank says they charge for online bill payment. Are there any fees that would apply since I am not using my bank's online services but am paying through the credit card company's site?

One of my neighbors held me at gunpoint and robbed me. CJ system caught him, and he already had a long wrap sheet. Should he have been able to get an apt in his name in the first place? Is this grounds for an lawsuit for post traumatic stress/psychological help?

I recently purchased a home for me and my fiance with the intent of us living in it a starting our lives together, within 2 months of living in the property, we decided to break up. The home is completely in my name and I went into a serious depression, I quit my job and visited friends in another state until recently. I only made 1 mortgage payment on the house before renting it out to a couple. The couple moved in and payed me only ONE time and have not payed me yet. I've been trying to get them evicted but the court process is too slow and now I'm 2 months late on the mortgage. I cannot afford the place on my own and now these people are taking advantage of my house. What happens to a new mortgage that immediatly defaults?

My friend works for a company, where the Assistant General Manager has been trying to get him fired for the longest while, but he cannot fire him, because he has no real grounds. First he accuses him of using company property for personal reasons, this was refuted and found that my brother was not. He has told my friend to not do works that the General Manager assigned him, and we know the motive would be he would have proof that he is disrespectful! Next he accuses him of stealing, and this too was refuted. Now he is accusing him of having sexual relations with another employee on company promises. This is also not true. Is this considered harassment? What can be done about it? There are so many more, but way too much to mention! Desperately seeking some advice!!!

The Indian Rupee is steadily gaining against the US Dollar. This has created tension among US Indians who earn and send money to India. Within months, the rupee gained 6 rupees (i.e. 1 USD ~ Rs.45.50, but now it is 1 USD ~ Rs.39.35).

With what was basically my safety NET (my home equity), I purchased a business opportunity. I made this purchase hopefully to better my situation - I was working 16 sometimes 18 hrs a day as a vendor. This High Class Scam (bus. opp.) has put me in a very bad situation. I had to leave my old job to run the business, but I have been loosing ~2300 per month for 7-8 months. I have been living off of credit cards. What should I do, I have a wife and two kids? Time is running out!!!

I am a full time student, graduating in June 2008. I have a job starting in August 2008 and I will be making $50,000 annually. Should I claim as an independent in 2008 for tax purposes or give my parents the advantages of claiming me as a dependent? (since I am under 23 and I guess I will still be considered a full time student for that tax year since I will be in school until June). Sorry if this is a little complicated.. thanks for the help... My main concern is paying income tax btw.

i havent received any kind of response yet.
im about 3 and half months new at this job and i didnt want to get into any kind of trouble by keeping the money so i emailed "the boss" and told him they made a mistake. i get direct deposit so money is automatically deposited into my bank account every 2 weeks. so it isnt a check they can send back.. its already there in my account.
do you think i shouldnt have emailed him and just kept the money?
(it was about $100 more than my usual pay)

i was just curious as to what anyone would do in my situation..
and im a little nervous since i havent had any kind of response yet.
(im hoping they let me keep the money but ill understand if i cant)

ever been in a situation like this?

Construct the equity portion of the balance sheet if the net common equity is $40 million, all shares were issued with a par value of $1 and an issue price of $25, and retained earnings are $30 million.

I booked my wedding reception at a fairly new (3yrs old) venue 8 months ago. I went back recently and the "owner / head person" wanted to revise our contract because the original event coordinator apparently did not calculate the cost of the venue and what they were providing properly. They now want to add additional cost that was originally included. This location is a museum and our wedding is in 3 months which does not allow for me to change venue or my invitations. I want to know what actions can be made to insure they follow through with the original contract and or any additional paperwork that I agreed to without changing it? I also want to know if they have the right to refuse on holding our event there if we do not agree?
