The Indian Rupee is steadily gaining against the US Dollar. This has created tension among US Indians who earn and send money to India. Within months, the rupee gained 6 rupees (i.e. 1 USD ~ Rs.45.50, but now it is 1 USD ~ Rs.39.35).

The US is in recession, and its currency has deflated vis-a-vis most currencies.

As you may know a lot of high tech indians are returning to India because you can now get a much better life there thanks to India's economic climb of the last 10 years.

large amount foriegn money is coming into india and they are investing in india in various ways like in stock exchanges, properties etc.

thats why indian rupee is strengthening.

this year foriegn investors invested 40 billion dollars in indian market.

if the fund flows into india is reduced means , then its having chance to dollar strength.

The $US is falling against almost everything. This is likely to get worse befoe it gets better, our government is only making it worse.

The USD is weak against EVERYTHING, and I have no clue when that will change.
