im very responsible i will pay my bill and everything but he says i dont need a phone!!what should i do??

I think it's good to have a cell phone.. so you can find your buds, in case theres a change in plans, let someone know if you're going to be late, in case of emergency, etc.
Ask your mom if she will let you go out and buy a prepaid phone. I see them sold at Family Dollar (least expensive), Walmart, etc.
Then you can get refill cards.

Dad is correct. You do not NEED a phone. You WANT a phone. May I remind you that millions of Americans survived quite nicely prior to the arrival of cell phones ?

If Dad objects strongly, you're going to have to find a way to convince him that the phone is necessary and a good idea. Good luck on THAT one.

Wait until you turn 18, then you don't need his permission.

I agree with him, btw. I don't give my teen a cell phone. And my husband and I share one.

buy a pre paid one yourself
you don't need an adult to do so

or you know
you should try convincing him about why it'll be good to get 1
say that there can be an emergency
worked for me!!!
