A friend filed bankruptcy and surrendered her pickup truck to be repossessed. Is there a maximum time limit allowed for the bank/dealer to pick up the vehicle. In other words, if they leave it over a certain period of time and fail to pick it up, do they forfeit the truck to my friend?

Yes, this is a homework question - i've had the month from hell and my masters in is includes 2 business classes [blah - i'm a developer, analyst, mathematician lol not a pedantic rote repetitive business major lol]. my 2 yr old is driving me nuts - broke 8 keys off my laptop earlier but i had a spare dead laptop around and cannibilized it.

anyhow i'm not expecting the answer though that would be nice - at the very least a pointer to a site where i could *easily* obtain an average P/E for the plastics mfg industry as well as an average P/E for the food retail industry.

i need to go take 10 tylenol ... i'll check back in 30 mins for any assistance.

peace & thanks in advance,
x

I gave my landlord a list with 4 problems with my house over 2 months ago. I had a leak, mold on the walls and carpet, and my bathroom fan and oven fan were out. In the 2 months the only thing that has been fixed is the oven fan and the leak. My wife has been sick with headaches and sinus problems that we think are because of the mold. I dont know how to approach this because i do not have a lease, but i did pay for 5 months rent up front in aug. So i am paid up untill january. Hope someone can help.

I am 22 years old. I am trying to define myself, but I am scared of taking the wrong road.

My father and family want me to be a doctor since I was a little kid---I could never imagine being anything else, but a doctor. I actually went to science highschool to become a doctor. Unforetunately, I did not like math and science.

In college I was majoring in Political Science (IR) to become a diplomat---I very much love the subjects. Luckily, I had a great opportunity to do an internship at an embassy. I found out good and bad about the life of diplomats---I do not want to be a diplomat. Therefore, I am now doing my Master in Public Administration (HR). I will graduate in May. Honestly, I am now scared to find out that l actually do not like to work in this area and waste my time go to college.

What should I do? Please advice. Thank you very much.

Sorry for the poor grammar ---English is my second language.

As far as I know, credit cards involve paying interest rates to the bank wich costs additional money on top of the purchases price. On the other hand debit cards are free when used in offline and online purchases, so does anybody know why people prefer to use credit cards instead of debit cards ?

I am getting a bachelor's degree in accounting and if I take a full load of classes I will finish next December. However, I have been offered an accounting clerk position. If I take the job, I will have to cut back on my course load and it will take about a year longer to obtain my degree. The position will give me experience, but the pay is very low. Should I take the position in order to gain experience or just get my degree and then try to get a job (even though I will not have any experience)?

Many of my friends graduated from top law schools such as Yale, Georgetown, and GWU.

Three girls become secretaries. A girl becomes air hostress!
None of my friends are lawyers.

What do you think of this?

Thank you very much...

I'm a new amazon user. 2 Weeks ago, I sold some textbook and made some money off of it. Today, I checked my amazon account and it said my balance was $0.00. What does this mean? Does that mean the money was already sent to my bank account?

When I checked my balance on my bank account, my balance was still the same. Did I get scammed or does it take time for the money to get transferred? Thanks!

My husband and I are planning to purchase a new home in the next couple of months. I know that traditionally, without 20% down payment, banks require you to pay PMI. While I understand the bank's perspective on this, as a buyer - it seems like money thrown to the wind every month.
My husband has impeccable credit, so we can get a good interest rate. We just aren't in a position to put 20% down at this time. I have heard about 80/20 loans, but I am not sure if that is a better option. I am only intrested in a 30 year fixed rate mortgage - no ARM! Do I have any other options other than PMI???

I have an on-campus interview with an employer I would love to work for. I have been researching interview tips, and one of the most common ones is to write a thank-you note restating your interest in the position. However, I have seen some advice where they recommend you do it immediately after with a pen and paper, and give it to the secretary to give to the interviewer on his way out later that day. I have also seen advice where you should email it to them within the next day. What do you guys think would leave the best impression?
