i am looking at buying a car and the seller has allready paid for the shipping. the car is coming from hawaii and they state there will be no shipping cost to me at all. someone was telling me that there may be taxes due upon arrival. this is a 2900.00 car and i was wonderinf if anyone knew what these charge will be , or who i can cantact to find theis out before i finalize this transaction and end up losing my money.. any help will be very very helpful.....thanks

Whoa! Hold on there! Do you personally know the person selling this car? And have you personally inspected the car yourself, in Hawaii?? If the answer to any of these questions is "no" then it's a virtual certainty that this is a SCAM! Do NOT send this person any money! You will never receive the car and you'll never see your money again. The so-called seller is probably in Nigeria or Lithuania. They give you a Hawaii address to send the money to them via Western Union, but WU will release the funds at ANY office world-wide.

There's a good reason why the price is only $2,900. That's the maximum amount of money that WU will allow you to send in a single transaction.

Do NOT send ANY money if the seller is not personally know to you! I'll bet dinner at Ruth's Chris that this is a SCAM!
