I've only used it once, and today i went to get money, i entered my password, entered the amount of money, then my card got taken away by the freaking ATM.

It said that this card is not working anymore, and i need to contact them to get it back

im not the owner what should i do? I have to leave for school on tuesday and im not coming back in a month.

First of all, it is not your card nor your parents'. It is the bank's card and the bank can withdraw it at any time. The ATM failed to return your card for one of several reasons. It might be a defective ATM; the card may have been used improperly and has been canceled; the ATM was a fake designed to steal your card; The bank account has been flagged as a problem account.

For example, a thief may have gotten hold of the card number and used it improperly to steal money from the account. Your parents may have overdrawn the account. The bank should be able to explain the reason, but your parents have to deal with the bank and straighten the matter out.

If it belongs to your parents, then you need to call them and they can give the bank permission to mail you one.

I'm suprised that your parents weren't the first people that you called.
