I'm a new amazon user. 2 Weeks ago, I sold some textbook and made some money off of it. Today, I checked my amazon account and it said my balance was $0.00. What does this mean? Does that mean the money was already sent to my bank account?

When I checked my balance on my bank account, my balance was still the same. Did I get scammed or does it take time for the money to get transferred? Thanks!

if you seleted your bank account as the place the money should be sent to,
you will probably see it in a few days,
if not they might give you a gift card balance,
also it could be that the person who bought your book has not paid amazon yet

If you are a Marketplace seller, which I think you are if you sell textbooks, Amazon will immediately give you the amount you earned (less fees) from selling your item.

Amazon transfers balances to bank accounts on pre-set schedules. What I think happened may be that they have already transfered the amount you earned.

However, with Amazon, it takes about 5 business days to have the money credited with your account. They are much slower than Paypal.

What you can do is to log into your Amazon marketplace account. Go to your Account Summary --> View Statement from

Doing so will allow you to know exactly what happened in your account and when the money was credited to you

It co,uld take a day or so before it shows up in your bank account. It sounds like it's been transferred. With the weekend, then the holiday tomorrow for Columbus day, it might be Tuesday or even Wednesday before it shows up in your account.
