I'm renting the main floor of a house, and the land lord pays for trash. Well, my original land lord sold the house. The new land lord switched to a new trash company...and my trash was no longer being picked up.

Here's a time line:

Week 1: My land lord called the trash company to let them know that my trash wasn't being picked up.

Week 2: My trash still didn't get picked up. The land lord called the trash company again.

Week 3: The trash company gave us a trash can with their logo on it, but they didn't take the trash.

Week 4: I had 4 trash cans full, sitting at the curb. But the trash company only took trash that was in the can with their logo on it.

So they won't take trash unless its in a can with their logo on it?? If that's the case, then they should not have waited so many weeks to give me a trash can...and because they didn't pick up my trash for so long, I had to use old cans, and that trash still hasn't been picked up! What am I supposed to do?

I'm a Florida Resident. I will be overseas for a year and will have a POD (portable on demand storage unit) come load up my stuff and take it to their warehouse. I will not have a house so will not have homeowners or renters insurance which I can add too. Insurance offered by PODS is quite expensive and not very inclusive. Thanks!

for example i bought a call option strike price $20 @ $3 expire in october. so i paid 3 * 100 (1 contract) = 300
currently the stock price is 15 which is out of the money. and the same call option that i bought before now only worth $1 which is the time value. so i'm just wonder if i can sell it back to the market for $1 which i can get back $100 to stop further loss of $300 thanks for ur help

I'm 28 live in Chicago, single, no kids - how do i find what tax braket I'm in. I'm trying to max out my 401k to get bumped down on the tax bracket but don't know where I even sit. 2) If i get a second job I take it that will contribute to "how much i make" according to the IRS?

I made agreement to let people use my property for 5 years for a campground business.Had it notorized then ran into several complications with then and found out they did not register agreement. I then advised then agreement was void as it was not registered. Kept email advising them void. They registered after I told them the agreement was void.....Before I proceed with lawyers etc.does anybody think I have a case???

Mine happened 6 years ago and it was a non violent crime (drug offense) and havent been arrested for anything not even a driving ticket since then. I finished school and got my AA. and im still having alot of problems getting a decent job because of my past. Always held a solid job (just not the pay that i want) and its just so hard. I am a second year Computer Engineering Technology student and I am think about getting work in a recording studio, what you you recommend as far as education goes? The only recoding engineering program in my city is a specialization in a music diploma. I do not necessarily want to got school for 2 years to learn music engineering. I am needing a medical test and procedure but don't have insurance. The hospital finance department had me fill out a form and provide pay stubbs to see if I qualified for assistance. They called me back and said I did and they would take care of 80% of the bills. My question is 80% of what? Do they raise the cost for non-insured? I've heard that people whitout insurance actually pay more because the insurance companies are only willing to pay a certain amount for medical care. Is the hospital really helping me?

I am 14 and just got my eagle on October 1st. It was a happy moment coming out of the board of review, I have to admit. I have been in scouting for a while and to get Eagle felt good. Does it really help you get into a college of choice? Will it help me get a job that I really want? Will adults,coaches and teachers look at me any differently if they know?

about 3 years. She buys everything on it and tries topays it all off at the end of the month - no check book to keep track of. She had a large car repair bill last month and was unable to make her card payment. Her credit card bill came in today and along with plenalties, her interest rate jumped to 33% from her normal 12.9. Now a 3rd of her monthly payment is interest. How can they do this and aren't there Usery Laws. What can she do? She just makes ends meet as it is and her family isn't any better off.
