do the taxpayers pay it?

here's the other question: can someone do this? rack up major credit, let's say $79,000 or whatever. then, instead of paying it, they declare bankrupcy.

then they never have to pay it!!!

is that right?

and then, next year, they rack another 47,000 dollars, whatever, and they do the same thing over and over.

can that b done?

ps: i am in no way insinuating that i do this. lol, i pay in full every month :)

We have a Sears credit card and they closed the account before we paid it off. It is almost paid off. My husband cancelled the account care and they sent us a letter stating that they sent to the credit bureaus that we closed our credit card account and we did not, they did. Will this go against us.

I thought it's better to pay in full but this is what i copied and pasted from another question that I answered:

"""It just shows potential companies you borrow from that you dont really have credit established if you pay in full every month. I would put like $200.00 on a credit card and pay the minimum every month until its paid so the credit card company can report that to the credit reporting agencies such as experian etc"""

so it hurts us to pay in full? is it better to pay the minimum? does my credit score lower if i pay in full? am i not getting his answer?????

THANKS GUYS!!!

Ive been given 2 months possession notice from my private landlord. More than 6 months has elapsed on the assured shorthold tenancy. Tenancy began 1st April. I need more time to find a new home that adequately meets my needs and to save the necessary costs involved in moving including a bond as one was not required here. My daughter and i face homelessness without more time. Can i extend the possession order at all? Thank you

I know we should send a credit report while disputing something from the bureaus but do we have to send the entire report. I have a 16 page report !! LOL yes 16 pages and want to know if I should just copy the page that contains the incorrect information or copy the entire report.

Please note, I’m asking this because through my experience credit bureaus love to prolong the process by stating there isn't enough information and I need to submit additional documents.

Sorry, but please answer if you're certain of the answer :-)

Thanks in advance!

I will soon be finishing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. I originally went into social work with the intention of becoming a therapist with my own private practice.

Although I love the work and I love my clients, I am really not cut out for this field due to the low pay and high demands/burnout. I have SO much respect for people who do this work but I know it's not for me. The degree is teaching me a lot, though--about health care, communication, systems, etc.

I am asking for serious and encouraging answers to the following. 1. Will having a Master's degree--even if I work outside of social work--be to my benefit and help me get a higher paying job than I would have with only a bachelors? 2. Besides for HR, what are different directions I can go with this degree (outside of social work)?

Thank you.

My friend signed a lease when he moved into his apartment. But the lease expired about 1 year ago he is still in the apartment but missed paying the last 3 months for rent Aug Sept Oct. He owes $3,600.

Since he did not sign a new lease can he just not pay the last 3 months and just leave? Or will they sue him even if he did not sign a new lease?

This is in New York State

I want to be in the medical field. I have considered being a nurse practitioner, physician's assistant, registered nurse, occupational therapist, and a dental hygienist. The duties of nursing seem overwhelming but I would get to help people, occupational therapy seem very physical, dental hygienists have to look in peoples mouths and the nurse practitioners and physician assistants are responsible for diagnosing and prescribing medicine which could be very challenging and overwhelming. I like all of the careers because I would get to help people and they are in demand, but I can not decide on which one. Can someone give me any opinions, experience, or anything on these careers that would help me? Thanks

I co-signed for a car loan for my fiance and during the signing realized that his name is in the co-sign position on the loan docs while my name is the owner.
When I mentioned this to the loan processor, at the car dealership, he shrugged it off like it was no big deal.
In the meantime, I'm going crazy. Do I own this car? Who is responsible? Is he the co-signer on his car?
What happens in case of a default?
I admit that I am a little more than a little confused.
Thanks!
