If I am offered this job then I will not be able to give any notice. I work in a small office and they count on me. I feel really bad about it but I really need a new job....better pay and all. Plus I am not able to move up in the company I currently work for. My boss is a little bit of a hot head. How do I tell him without making him upset and everyone else I work with as well?

Does being enrolled in a Credit Monitoring service get you more easily approved for credit cards?

I am offered this service for free for one year through my job, and i would like to know if being enrolled in a Credit Monitoring service which includes total protection from identity theft, can improve your chances when applying for credit cards and loans.

Or is it simply just good for protecting you from fraudelent charges?

I didn't get any special training in this area and I know this may sound like a silly question however it is a valid one. Everyone deals with employment rejection differently and I would like to know what works for you.

Would you buy from him or her?
How can you tell if someone is a fraud or not? he has positive
ratings and has sold and bought many things on ebay. I just don't see how someone can sell a brand NEW ipod nano with a starting bid at .99 cents. Seems a little suspicious. any thoughts?

Two days ago I handed in an application at Barnes and Noble because my current job only gives me 15 hours per week, which is obviously not enough to pay for rent. I didn't expect to hear from Barnes and Noble so soon (only a few hours), and today after an interview I got hired full time starting next week. I can't keep my current job any longer due to schedule conflicts, so the only option I have now is to quit. The problem is that I'm afraid it's rude to my current boss to quit on him so abruptly and without giving him a two week notice to hire someone else. And it's not like I don't like my current job, it's just that I need more hours than what my current boss can possibly give me in order to pay the bills. So what am I supposed do? How should I break it to my boss?

1. If I use my business accounts for business expenses and personal expenses, do I just itemize what I've used for my business and the end of the year?

2. If I go out to breakfast, lunch or dinner to discuss my business (i.e. business meeting) with my spouse, whom is also involved in my business, can I write that off?

3. Can I write-off part of my mortgage (the room that is dedicated as an office)?

4. If I have a gas business credit card and I use it to fill out my car for the week, but I only travel 30 miles or so for business meetings, do I only write-off that 30 miles or how does that work?

5. Do you REALLY get a lot of money back at the end of the year for having a business? I probably won't make $400 this year because I just started several months ago. How does that work?
