Does being enrolled in a Credit Monitoring service get you more easily approved for credit cards?

I am offered this service for free for one year through my job, and i would like to know if being enrolled in a Credit Monitoring service which includes total protection from identity theft, can improve your chances when applying for credit cards and loans.

Or is it simply just good for protecting you from fraudelent charges?

It just tells you when an inquiry is made, or something got added, or deleted.

You might have been applying for wrong credit cards. If you have no credit history, it'll be hard to get approved for many cards. You should see the site below and apply for a card that you qualify for. They have some very good cards for people with no credit history.

In my experience there are two types of Bad Credit Credit Cards. One is a secured card, and the other has a much higher rate of interest. Both can be used to rebuild your credit worthiness after getting back on your feet. Secured credit cards are great for rebuilding your credit. You send the credit card company a pre deposit amount set by the companybit of interest for you. After establishing yourself with the credit card company, they may decide to give you a unsecured credit card or increase the limit on the one you have with them without having to make another deposit. Secured credit cards are a good choice for anyone wishing to rebuild their credit history.

It's just protection for your credit. If you're not careful and don't cancel they will charge you each year. Watch out.

No , credit monitoring is for idiots who put their info out there such as over the internet , credit cards are for the lesser of idiots who can not afford to pay cash for needless things they want.......no credit card will make you save anything , how can you save when you pay more than others.....Credit traps are for those who do not know better

It is only good for protecting you from fraudulent charges. The only thing that will help is raising your credit score.
