Hello, I'm 16 and I just started working at a fast food restaurant, and I absolutely dislike it. I have worked four shifts, and have another one tomorrow, and two days after. My aunt got me the job, so it's not like I earned my position. I am a garnisher, which is serving customers with what they would like on their food. Supposedly in a month or so, I should be trained for cashier and grill. I do NOT want to do this. When I have a workshift, I complain that I don't want to go so many times that sometimes I'm convinced I'm not going! My parents both told me to give it a try, and my aunt told me that if at any time it's not for me, then to tell her. I don't think I have what it takes to tell her, because my aunt and my manager think I'm doing such a good job, but I actually hate it. I wanted to use this job as a reference for work experience as it was my first job, but will they give me a bad rep? I was thinking of having my mom explain it to my aunt.. what do you think I should say/do?

I just sold my business and the new tenant took over. I was never in default of rent. The new tenant just signed a lease and their first payment is right after my last payment. No break in between. The landlord released me from my lease which had two years to go. But still holds security deposit.

Trying to find out how to drive business to my new bath and body website, www.sincityscents.com. It's still a work in progress but it's up and running for right now and I just can't figure out how to start attracting customers. I know the search engines are ok for that but it seems to really cost in order to do it and I wanted to start generating some kind of revenue and then invest more in the search engines. Any idea's out there?

I am in over my head. I work at a Dr.'s office. I schedule new patient appointments, verify insurance and answer the phones for 4 doctors and eight locations. My phone is ringing off the hook and papers have overtaken my office to the point of not finding anything! Does anyone have a system that could work for me? I hate feeling out of control, especially at a job I love and have done for 5 years. Our practice has recently blown up and I can't keep up! Asking for help is a no go. We don't have enough staff right now.

Is it bad to have more than one or two bank accounts? I don't even know what inspired this question to be honest. But I was just thinking about how I personally have 5 accounts with 5 different banks. Then in addition to that I have a Roth IRA with Schwab, and one with Fidelity, and another account with Scottrade for my discretionary fund. Then lastly I have my 401(k) So all totaled that is 9 different accounts. Is that too much? I have no credit cards, no debt or anything, just 9 different accounts, with 9 different institutions. For some reason that just seems a little excessive. Or maybe it isn't. Whatever, any thoughts?

I'm new to credit cards.

I was always under the assumption that paying the full amount that you put on your credit card that month, at the end of every month (right before the due date) was the smart thing to do for your credit card. Which is exactly what I've been doing for the 5 or 6 months since I got my first card.

My friend told me she'd been told differently -- that to leave a small portion of each month's balance over and pay it off more slowly. She said this is good for your credit score.

So which is right? Thanks.

I just received my college degree and I am starting a new job Monday. This is the first year I will be working as a single mom. I need help with how I fill out my W-4. I used to claim 0 when I had no children so I would get a larger refund back at the end of the year. Now I cannot afford to have such a large amount taken out each paycheck. I know a couple of people who are single mothers getting a $4000 tax return, but neither of them know how many they claim on their W-4.
I just need to know how many dependents to claim to get the maximum amount of money for my son and me. Do I claim 1 (for my son), 2 (for my son and me) on my W-4, or do I claim 0 on my W-4 and wait to claim both of us at the end of the tax year?

PLEASE HELP!!!

I'm curious to see what rate I would get on a car loan but wanted to make sure it doesn't affect my credit score. I heard auto loan and mortgage credit checks don't show up on your report (thus bringing down your score). Is this true?

I filed for an extension, paid a rough estimate for both fed and state. do I use the 1040 form to file now or do I need another form. 4/15 wiped out my accounts with the estimates. Had 1099 contract labor and 1099 debt relief along w/ W-2's. The 1099's killed me. I need to know what forms to fill out to go ahead and get this behind me. have never done this b4
