does the 1934 twenty dollar bill have any kindof of watermarks or recognizeable features?

well my mother came across a twenty it appears to be fake how can i tell if its not?????

No watermarks or mylar threads - those weren't used until 1990.
Look closely at the paper. There should be tiny red and blue fibers embedded in the paper. If you don't see any, test it with a counterfeit detector pen (available at most office supply stores).
If genuine, and it probably is, it does have some modest value as a collectible - especially if the serial number ends in a star instead of a letter. Good Luck!
