It's a waste of money. You can watch your own credit by spacing out your free credit report from each bureau. Unless you've had identify theft or had your information exposed, you don't need that monthly watch.

I think monthly might be a little excessive. I know you can get a free credit report annually, and that might be a better place to start. If you know where you're standing, and you monitor your finances, I don't believe you would have need to have it watched monthly.

I'm including the link to my credit union's information regarding credit reports. It might be helpful.
