I did not sign up for "charge my account each month", I want it off, you send me a bill each month. you don't automatically charge my credit card each month, I'm furious. Suppose I've just paid my bills and your charge overdraws me? I and I alone pay my bills. you take that off my account or I'll find someone else to sponsor my website

From what I can find on the Connecticut labor laws I believe that employers are required to pay overtime (1.5 times the regular wage) for every hour over 40 per work week. At my job, the pay period is two weeks long, and my employer only gives us overtime if we work more than 80 hours in the two weeks, not 40 per each week. Is that legal? In other words you can work 60 hours one week, then only 15 the next, and not get overtime pay for the extra 20 hours the first week. I don't think that's right, does anyone else know?

my buddy who is separated from his wife recieved a letter from the IRS saying they are putting a Federal Tax Lien on his properities.
Well this is being filed for a tax year that he filed jointly with his wife (back in 2004), but he had mentioned to me that the IRS notices only have his social security number on them and not hers (his x-wife) even though they are both equally responsible for whatever debt was accrued for that tax year.
So now that this Notice was sent does this mean that his x-wife's properities will also have a lien against them even though her social security number isn't on the notices or just his property?

I remember her paying premiums to some company But I dont know which. I dont live around where she lived so I could not go search her files . It seems like some family members all the sudden have too much money. I know if she did have she would have wanted it to be equally divided between her children. How could I find out this information. I cant ask my sister or her husband who is not my father, he is my sisters father. My wife and i want to get out of our apartment in febuary, but we did a debt relief program that we are still in, and will be in in feb. We both have terrible credit now under 520, is it possible to get a home loan? we are going to hope fully buy in the 115-120 k range . any advice would help.

I have had an oral agreement to rent an appartment. I have completed an application and made a security deposit. I have not signed a lease agreement for this place yet because I was not sure if it was a right place for me. My move in date was later in the month. Now I have found another place which is great and I want to get back my security deposit from the previous place which I do not want to rent anymore. What are my rights? Hi! I have a friend who lives in California who lost his job three years ago. He stopped paying his credit cards coz he lost his job and now he has bad credit. Creditors have been calling him since.
