If anyone could help me with my situation, I need cheap furniture, and is there something I could apply for to help me pay for everything? I wanted to go to a community college near the apartment I have been looking at, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly, I have an Orchard Bank Visa and an Orchard Bank Mastercard. I've had one of them for about 3 years, and the other for about 2 (Instead of giving credit limit increases, they give you another card, presumably in the hope that you will get more confused and miss payments and pay their fees!)... they both have $300 limits. (Haha, sad.)

The good news is, I guess I've been doing something right because I have recently been approved for a CC with a much lower APR and a $5,000.00 limit! (Yay.)

My question is - should I close the 2 OB CCs? They both have annual fees of $39, and they don't really contribute much to my "available credit." The only reason I would want to keep them open is because they contribute to my "history." My payment history has been spotless. How much would it really hurt my score to close these cards??? Should I just keep them open indefinitely and pay the annual fees???

I recently filed bankruptcy. I have the option of keeping my car or surrending it. I am only behind one payment of $400. However, the car is a 2003 Nissan Altima with 75, 300 miles. It needs a little work: a tune up and an oxygen censor. It also has a lot of body damage, about $750. My interest rate is very high and I still owe $14, 212. I am scheduled to pay 56 more payments, another 4 years and eight months. Should I just surrender the car? I have about $3000 that I can use to buy a used car. I also live in a small city. I only live about three miles from my job and our city has a public transportation system I can use until I buy another car. I have to turn over the car immediately if I am going to. What should I do? I can afford to make the payments on the car. But, I think I should get rid of it and wait a year or two to get my credit better, it is currently 550, before financing another car. What do you think? I've made every payment on time, except one, in the 1 1/2 year.

I am certified as a manicurist and I am making my own business cards. I'm not affiliated with any salon so I'm not sure what to put as my "company name". I don't want to use something boring like "Ellie's nails". Something fun, creative... Any ideas?

I fell from a roof and shaddered my right heel bone in about 50 places when i landed on my feet. I had surgery 10 days later and they put my heel back together with about 9 bolts/srews and a steel plate on 1/28/07. It took until now to be released to part time work. My doctor has my records marked as a possible permanent impairment. I know i can work for about 2 hours before it starts hurting and i'm walking with a good limp after about 4 hours. My doctor said this won't be wrapped up until febuary. The insurance company wants to meet with me next week. I think they are wanting to offer me a settlement. It seems to be too soon for this. As an Licensed Electrician i usually make around 50.000 per year or better. I'm worried about whether i will be able to perform til i retire which is another 37 years or better before that happens. That's pretty much all the details. What kind of settlement should i consider if the insurance company tries to force my hand?

I know these two commodities don't trade completely correlated, but I've seen oil go over $78, and gasoline in my area has done nothing but fall the past few months. We're at about $2.55 here in DFW, TX. What's up with this?

I have a friend who is 95 years old and since she can't get around that well, I do her weekly grocery shopping, taxes, etc...She lives in a building that has a concierge desk and for the past 2 years or so, I have been having my packages delivered there. I work a 9 to 5 job and live in a house and nobody is here to sign for packages. This building just got a new manager and now he is saying that my packages can no longer be delivered there since I am not a resident. I order mostly books from amazon, so I don't get any big overwhelming packages. My question is since I'm a friend of the resident and the resident has given me permission to have my packages delivered there, can this new manager be allowed to bar my packages from being delivered there? He said that he will "Return to Sender" my packages.

We live in a rented house and have lived there for a year and a half. We had sky put in the month we moved there. About 6 months or so ago the company who built our houses started building more new houses directly behind us (very close, too close for my liking) anyway, we didnt know that these houses were going to be built behind us, let alone as close as they are. Yesterday when i got home from work hubby told me that sky wasnt working. I called sky and after going through various things he asked if we had any scaffolding near us...ARGHHHH they had, that day, built up higher and finally got the roof up....apparently thats now blocking out signal and we need to get the dish moved.....at a cost of £65!! I will not pay! But can i make the housing company pay? After all, i didnt ask them to build those houses there!
Any advice is more than welcome.

I ordered a Cd from them today. I picked the option of sending a check/money order in when the CD arrives. Would it be faster if I used a credit card? Or would it make a difference?

I hate going to large malls, and super Wal-Marts, Super stores of any kind? I hate going shopping. It's not fun anymore. You have to walk over acres of space, and stand in long lines for hours, and then hunt for your car when you get ready to leave, I would rather shop in a mom and pop store. My daughter is one of the worst offenders of super shopping. She is an idiot too and goes along with all the other retards. I can't wait to move out of the city and go to wide open spaces, even if they have wild critters. I can grow what I need and go to the nearest gas station for a gallon of milk. Who else feels they way I do?
