If anyone could help me with my situation, I need cheap furniture, and is there something I could apply for to help me pay for everything? I wanted to go to a community college near the apartment I have been looking at, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chad there are grants you can get to go to school. Seek out government sponsored grants. As for living arrangements, maybe you can find someone who needs a roommate and already has a place at or near the school. As for furniture, you won't need much, a bed, desk, lamp. Those can be purchased cheaply at any thrift or goodwill store. Goodwill has furniture sales on Thursday! You'll need to get moving on finding a part time job near school as well. What are you doing for transportation? Goodwill also sells bikes if you need one. If I can help further, just email me. Good Luck!

Try Salvation Army or Goodwill stores for cheap furniture. Talk to the financial aid people at the school you want to go to - they can guide you in applying for financial aid.

Good luck.

Visit the local community college they've got advisers who would walk you through step by step on your plans for the future. Tyr to look at craigslist in your local area, most people are giving away stuff..
