I just turned 13 and it seems every babysitting job i try to get some girl takes it and other the parents don't want a boy but a girl.
Why do only girls get jobs as babysitting? And what else can i do at 13 except for that scam online work, yard work or a paper route?

i am planning on buying a big screen t.v. and some office furnitures from walmart. It seems like a good idea to get a credit card since i do, do all my shopping there anyways. But i was just curious, which one is better? I've read the fine prints and all, but im just kinda confused. should i go with the walmart discover or the walmart credit card??? And why is it better than the other. thanks!!

I try to pay as many bills as possioble through my corporation in order to have all of it written off and i know that its a good thing. BUT how do you show proof of high income when you try to buy a house or a car and you can't show high personal income because all your bills are paid through the company and you dont need to write yourself high paychecks. We currently rent from these prop managers, have always paid on time, never had any problems, etc. Now that our lease is up and we're looking to move somewhere closer to town, we've applied to a lot of places through them and every time they've "decided to rent to someone else." I understand that this is just the way things work, but I'm starting to wonder if something is blatantly wrong with our application (we've asked, and they always say 'We will call you if we need anything') or if they just don't want to rent to us because we're young students, or if they've lost our application (whenever we call to apply to a new one they always say, "It's on my managers desk" or "I can't seem to find it right now, but I'm sure that it is here...", I hear them say this to everyone though.) or aren't processing it right (they seem pretty disorganized this summer).

So, do they have to give us a reason that they chose someone else over us?

Normally, the commission would be split, so on a 6% commission, it would be 3% and 3%, but if one agent handles both sides of the sale, does he/she get to keep the 6%?

If I'm the seller and since the seller pays for the commission, can I suggest that I just give him/her 3% if I don't go with my own seller's agent, since that's what he/she would get anyway...that way, I would save money on commission. I don't know if I made any sense, but I hope I did.

A few Question to be answered.
(1) I live outside of the EU but I pay taxes on my pensions I receive in the UK. I have not received any Tax notification for last year or for this. Where or how do I apply to obtain my Tax notification ?
(2) Because I live outside the EU should I be paying Taxes at all ?
(3) Due to the law I now no longer qualify for Free National Health as I live out of the UK for longer than the permited time scale allowed. But if I still pay UK Tax , should I still be entitled to get treatment on the Naional Health if I was to fly home tomorrow ?

Hi folks,

Quick question. A while back, I moved into a flat/apartment that used to be one big house before being divided into 2 separate residences. The problem is that the newer flat address (60A, as opposed to the original house which was number 60) is not registered with the Post Office, so I can't get credit or order anything that requires an auto-fill postcode, as the address doesn't show up on anyone's system.

I asked the Post Office and they said it isn't their responsibility to add the address!!! So where the hell do I go to get this added?

I own a 3900 sq. ft. commercial building on the main block of a small downtown area. The mountain town is known for it's art and indian collectibles. Sales are soft, even if the town is popular. There are basically three blocks of stores, but I'm on the most heavy trafficked block, so it's a plum. My question is about leasing it. Namely, what is more attractive to most? Do I simply lease it for a certain period of time--and how long? Do I do a Lease Option? Do I do a double net or a triple net?

Of course, I know all are possibilities, but I'm TOTALLY ignorant about all this and want to do what is good for me, but attractive to a potential lessee.

And how do I advertise that I'm willing to lease?? Do I use a realtor? I still have a store in the building as well, and would need two months to sell the inventory, but ONLY if I have someone committed. I am still paying a mortgage and can't afford for the building to be empty, waiting for a lessee. Please educate me.

I pay UK tax and hold a UK passport but live abroad outside of the EU. I'm not a resident in this country and only remain here as long as I qualify for a visa. I applied to open a Nationwide Flexicurrent account but they declined saying I'm not a resident of the UK. So they say I have to open a International account, which I do not want. My country of abode doesn't see me as a resident. My country of origin doesn't see me as a resident. So therefore where legally do I reside ?
By the way the reason why I want a Flexi account is because I can use the Debit Card to withdraw money here without suffering any add on penalties. Where as transfering money via banks does.

We have GREAT credit, steady jobs, nice equity in our current home, and are pre qualified(30yr fix)(no credit card debt, only current mort., an available line of credit and car loans). We found the worst house in a good neighborhood with a slow market. Its at the beach in an area that is predicted to skyrocket later( Multi million dollar golf courses there, new marina, downtown revitalization completed, business growth, no crime) We are placing a bid contingent on inspection...His family says wonderful!! My family says I am crazy, not right time.I have done the work before to my home and tripled its value. My mom says I have 3 kids, putting the fear of God.It would be a little bit tight ( little bit) for two years...then easier (no day care).Do I just do it if it it passes inspection? (The price will be great) How do you KNOW to take the leap? I dont want to be kicking myself for not doing it!! We have both always wanted this. Are we TOO cautious? Most shore towns dont depreciate, right?

his two brothers partners. He didn't even ask me! I'm way pissed! I asked him if he was just going to give them a share for nothing he said yes. why wouldn't he. It isn't a big business one good client really but still!!!! His one brother CAN'T be trusted and has screwed my hubby over before at work and he still wants him to be partner. He doesn't know when he will do this but he said even if he can quit his job and work full time with our business and later wants them to be partners he will make them partners and not have them buy part of the company or anything just give them a share!! Is he stupid for doing this or am I being selfish for not wanting them part of our business? Please help!!

I know this has to be done if they are using a realtor, but if you buy a house directly from the sellers, are they required by law to tell you if anything is wrong with the house (bad plumbing, standing rainwater in the backyard, etc)?

I referred someone to a Builder and my friend will actually be purchasing the home. There is a referral gift offered by the builder in cash and I was told I would be getting a check when my friend settles on his home. Is this gift/money taxable? Who is responsible for this if it is ? Is this considered as other income? If it is taxable, will the money I receive be net of taxes or do I have to declare the taxes myself?

Any help with regards to this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
