We are having a quote for a new powergen boiler on Weds (ours is on its last legs!!) - has anyone had any experience with Powergen's finance options - ie 0% finance for 12 mths? We have a good credit history, with no defaults etc - does anyone know whether they are strict with their criteria etc for acceptance?

If I give my keys back to the bank because the morgage on the rental is $380,000 and similar houses are selling for $330,000 can the bank come after me for equity that I have in my primary residence ($85,000)? I can't make the 2 morgage payments any more and I keep getting screwed by tenants who have rented it.

We have looked at leaseback schemes in France. They seem to be fairly water tight security was (what with the guaranteed rental return and full management). Companies like Assetz are now offering more flexible deals where you can stay at the places longer and when you want.
So why not?

I have bought vitamins online from the US because they are a fraction of the price of the same vitamins here. As the value of the vitamins is less than £70 why have I been charged tax on them at the Post Office?

I'm from Malaysia. I bought an apartment which shouldve been completed at the end of 2006. I signed my sales purchase agreement in March 2003. Now the project has been taken over by another company because the original developer wasnt able to complete it. What compensation can seek and how? Who can I refer to? The lawyer whom i signed my spa wasnt able to provide me with satisfactory answer.

Okay, i've been looking into investing in the stockmarket, read many books, watched stock programs, listened to stock market cd's, talked to people, and even played stock market computer games....... I get the general idea, know what stocks are, and know i need to find a broker etc etc, but what i'm wondering....

my husband, nor i want to take a huge risk, we have no real stock market experience, i dont have much money, barely getting by, and dont want to spend alot of money, sign lenghthy contracts all over the place, and wind up getting stuck somehow.....

is it possible, just to take, $10, buy a stock, and see what happens,? get the experience? see how it goes up and down and sort of start that way? no opening up major accounts, coming up with huge investing plans, not even alot of research, just one stock at random, at $10...just for the experience...

^_^ thank you!

I was thinking of people I have heard of making things SOME OF THEM hard but then turning to ebay to sell them. Can someone tell me some things that you might be able to make like an entrepreneur and then sell? I had some thoughts on the matter that might work but I am not sure so any advice may help.

I have been in admin for 5 years. I hate it. It is the only thing I know, though. I hate being at a desk all day. I go bonkers sitting still. I cant even sit through a movie. The only other skill I have is writing which doesn't pay well until you are established which could take years. I do not have a college degree but am desperate to get out of admin. I am between jobs now and cringe at the thought of going back and sitting at a desk for 8 hours. No offense to those who love office work. I wish I could be more like that but I'm not. What other careers could I pursue that are not office but pay decent?
