Why not ask the section 8 people, I don't know who runs section 8 maybe it is HUD.

that depends. The old county can fax the info to them or they may have to mail it. It should be done within a week. The ploace I just moved from didn't care and it got put on a to do list and eventually got done (after the new county called them).so it basically depends on how fast they want to do it. If you don't have money to pay rent..they don't care..it's a govt program like food stamps. GL
