I ordered a printer for an employee. My boss told me to get another one. I tried and it has been discontinued. My boss got real snippy and emailed me that she ordered it on-line just the other day. I've checked three times and cannot get that printer. It's a recent discontinued item. What would you say to her if this happened to you?

I have Medicare & Medicaid, & I always have a hard time getting my prescriptions filled because Medicaid always tries to make Medicare pay for it, & then I have to pay out of pocket for them. Medicare alwways give me a hard time because they want Medicaid to pay for the prescriptions. & I have both & am eligible for both.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have a bad credit history due to my now ex wife. I recently bought a new used car. I paid $5,000 down and financed the other $4,000 for 4 years. My plan is to pay for my first payment $1,500. The second payment $800. The rest of the payment I was going to pay $152 a mounth. This whole transaction should take a little over a year. Does anyone have a opinion on this? All answers are welcome.

I really want to sell my house quickly, but estimate I can at best "break even" and get about what I paid for it, which satisfies the loan. The problem is the realtor fees which will be approximately 6%, can be significant in Ca.

At this point I don't have at the cash on hand to pay that amount. I understand all debts have to be settled at closing, but is there a such thing as a payment plan in which I can make agreed upon payments to the realtor after the house is sold? I realize that FSBO is an option, but I'd prefer to deal with a professional. Thanks in advance.

Why would a manager call work from work using his cell phone asking for another manager and pretending to be someone else under an assumed name? What sense does that make?

A friend of mine is selling me some of her acreage in New York state to build a house on. (zoning is not an issue) I believe the next step is to hire a land surveyor to do boundry lines and cut out, right? Who traditionally pays for those services? Does filing the changes at the county office cost extra or is it included? Who assigns an address to the property (currently just 'land', not anything out there, but I need a physical address for the closing)?
Thank you!

My husband works with his father, which owns his own company. As of right now, my husband is responsible for his own taxes. Now his father is talking about putting him on salary taken out taxes, and at the end of the job, and after overhead, giving a bonus. My husband works alot of hours as of now, and makes a good living for our family. I have tried to look online about small businesses, so maybe I could learn alittle more about it so I would seem so dumb when he talked about all this in front of me. But, of course it all cost a pretty penny to take this courses. So if anyone has any answers that I could use I would appreciate it.

I figure they would be taxed since the money is paid into my 401k as pretax income. I know that a Roth IRA distributions aren't taxed after you've reached the minimum distribution age, but I can't seem to remember if 401k distributions are taxed after you reach the minimum distribution age. Thanks.
