I just made $300 painting a room? I figure if I can do one a week thats an extra 1200 bones I can put aside for savings. Do you have any other experiences besides painting a room? I'm willing to teach myself new skills if whatever you did required it.

I'm thinking about buying a small apartment complex. The income would be around $300,000 a year after property taxes. I know I would have to pay property taxes, but would the government also tax the $300,000 income?

i want to go to college next year, and i'm totally lost on what i want to do exactly.
i was thinking double major in computer science and environmental studies & ecology.
and a minor in philosophy.

i want to do something for the planet so we don't kill it, but i also don't want to be poor.

would i be able to make a decent living off these majors/minor together?
what could i do as a career?
and could i finish it in 4 years?

i'm going to be going to college next year when i'm 16, yes i can go to college at 16. it's called simon's rock college of bard if you're wondering what the college is, i am going to talk to them about double majoring and getting a minor. so i'll finish at the age of 20 (hopefully), would that in any way hurt or help me?

I am tired of the nit-picking payments to mail every month so I am wanting to know which ones would be best to pay in full and close? Or get a new account with a balance transfer on some of these then close the accounts.

All have been paid on time. I am just sick of 7 different bills mailed each month plus utilities it makes it a check writing nightmare. Cortrust, First Premier, First Savings, and Credit One charge for online bill payment so it isn't worth it. The other ones I pay online most the time.

Thank you!

well i have invested in two stocks ABB and DLF. well i just told the broker to invest in DLF. DLF is listed in both NSE and BSE. the stock price of DLF at which he bought was 646.(something). how do i konw that the stock price has increased? just explain me when the stock prices are updated. sometimes in the ticker in the TV. it says up arrow 46.40 or suddenly the next minute it is down arrow 3.80 but the stock price remains the same. how do i know if the stock price increased or decreased. and sometimes, the stock DLF is not displayed in the TV ticker at all...only sometimes they show. that is not the case with ABB...they display its stock price everytime. just tell me how can i know if the stock price has increased. ..? the up arrow increases but the stock value remains the same..

I don't have any credit cards of my own. My credit cards are all supplementary cards from my husband. I have 3 joint bank accounts with my husband. We have never had any trouble paying our bill. I have once applied for a credit card and got rejected due to the fact that I am new here and I do not have any income to support my credit card. I have recently received a job offer that requires credit check. My question is since I do not much of credit history and got rejected for credit card, will I have any problem for credit check? Will the company reject me for any reason? I have ordered my credit report with Equifax, which showed my mortgage Scotiabank. That's all it showed. I asked for my credit score, but they said that the information is not available. I need this job badly. Anything I can do about it? Any advice? Thank you.

I'm wondering how credit card companies calculate how much I can increase my credit limit. Do they base it off of annual income? I'm wondering if they'll approve a credit limit increase to 10,000 stones if I make 10,000 stones a year.
Thanks.

I'd like to be able to find out what my max credit limit is given 'x' factors.

In 2006, my girlfriend was a non-resident alien who was in the U.S. temporarily for training and temporarily living in NYC. The company she worked for is located in NJ. She has a SS# so she federal and NY state taxes were withheld from her paychecks. She's filed a 1040NR-EZ for her federal return. Does she need to file an IT-203 for her NYS return? The directions on the IT-203 form says she needs to file only if she received New York source income...but the company was based in NJ?! I plugged in all the numbers using NY stats and it looks like she's getting a small refund but I'm not sure if that's the proper way to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

I just got a new credit card, and I haven't used it yet. I was just wondering how many days you get after you receive a bill to pay it. With cell phones it's 30, but I figured I'd ask just to be safe. Sorry if it's kind of a dumb question.

I want to buy something that comes to 830 dollars from newegg.com, my Paypal account has 780 dollars in it. If I click submit, will it take the remaining funds out of my backup funding source for paypal (the 50 dollars I need extra), or will it charge the ENTIRE 830 dollars to my backup source, and none of it to my Paypal. Thanks for the help.

Legal professional input? A human resources manager conducted on site oral swab drug test, stated MRO reported as a failure. The company, union, nor MRO would release the results to me. HR manager had to turn over so called result in order to stop my unemployment benefits-which I am still receiving, as result CCF incomplete, results missing MRO name or signature anywhere on result. I have received information I believe to be proof the HR manager deemed positive herself (most likely typed "result" herself.) No MRO participation in test or result. Do I have any right to sue this woman personally in civil court? Is there any criminal charge to be made here? She also committed perjury during Appeals Tribunal hearing (which a lawyer already informed state would most likely not pursue, due to my benefits not being denied as a result of her lying. She also responded to my request for a service letter, stating I violated the company policy which I did not. Input-please?

Just in case the Illinois General Assembly DOES shut down the state government, until a new budget is approved, What alternate sources of income are available, for state workers. To be definitive, I understand that, during the last government shut down, that one, or more, local banks, were willing to offer state workers no interest loans. These loans were on condition that, once the workers returned to work, the state workers would sign their next paycheck over to the bank, to pay off the short-term loan, in full. Any information regarding this topic would be appreciated.

p.s.

I am not the one needing these benefits, my job is excellent and I just got promoted, and I love what I do.

I'm going to get a job that pays $180,000 a year for up to 3 years. I want the money to make more money while I'm working that job through stock markets.

I want to take the money I earned and quit the job and with that capital I want to start my own small business. I want to open up an auto repair shop. A nice one that also does more stuff than repair cars. I don't want to blurt out my exact business plan since it's my own idea.

I then want to have the money to build my dream house which should cost around $500,000

Can I do this? Is this possible? Do I need a financial consultant? Stock Broker? A good lawyer? What do I need to do? What should I watch out for?
