I am doing my taxes next year with my husband next year, but i am affraid that he might do my taxes with him and keep the money, can he do this? the w-2 will arrive to our house... ????

My security deposit is 1,134.00.The penalty for breaking a lease is 1,400.00.Should I go and let them have the deposit?Two bedroom rent is 1,040.00 and I live by myself everysense my wife left me and took her two kids with her.I am waisting money on this apartment.I just completed a year lease and is only 2 months into a new 6 months lease.My wife booked up on me and now I am being garnished in my wages making it hard for me to pay the rent.I can't work a second job because I drive trucks and never know when I am getting off work.I make 13.95 an hour with a 25 percent wage garnishment.

im a college freshman and im thinking about majoring in marine biology. my instinct tells me thats where i belong, but im having second guesses because im not sure there are many job opportunities with a degree in marine biology. i'm also not sure what kind of money they are making. i checked salary.com and they dont even have that job listed.

I've been notified by another company's law firm that my business name is infringing on their trademark. Most of my business is generated online and the domain name bears the name that's trademarked.

How can I change the domain name without losing business? Does anyone know if I can redirect the domain name to another site? Is that possible? Or do I have to give up the domain name altogether?

I want to take part in banner exchanges, but don't have a lot of room for the larger (468x60) banners. Are there any banner exchanges out there for smaller sized banners, like those that will fit in side collumns? 125x125 or smaller is what I'm looking for.

Whenever I purchase an item on ebay, I always check to see if the item is covered under the Paypal protection policy; usually it is. However, there have been cases where an item that has been covered by Paypal, has not been handled very well by the postal service. Fortunately, my items were not damaged, but it made me think about my need for additional insurance. Here are my questions: 1. What are your thoughts to my above situation, and my possible need for more insurance, even though I pay through Paypal, and the item is covered under their protection policy? 2. Some sellers post that "Insurance is not offered". Does that mean that there is no way I can pay the extra fee to get that item insurred, or what? Thank you. Any additional information on ebay & insurance that you can provide, would be helpful also.

I am a 9th grader trying to figure out what to do with my life. I have a career in mind, but I like to keep my options open so I need your help.

1) I classify myself as a creative person. I like to step back, look at what the results of my creativity, and feel good about the fruits of my labours.

2) I am the math/science type of person.

3) I have excellent grades, and I will be going to university.

4) I am very mentally driven and innovative. I like to think of new ideas.

5) I like to impress. This would be my greatest motivation.

I'm getting mail for someone else with my address. I've received atm cards, a pink slip for a car, replies to job applications, etc. with other people's name and my address. Identity theft is usually the other way around- my name their address.

Has anyone come across this kind of fraud? What are they doing? I tried to report it to the atm bank but they don't seem to care. I'm concerned because this happened before with my previous address and I was subpoenaed by a law firm. Someone used their name and my address and was committing all kinds of fraud using my address.

What can I do? Who should I report this to?

I have been working for my employer from a year now and have been asking for my W2 which is obivously late. Today she told me that she is making me fill out a W9 which I belive gives me a 1099 MISC. This states that I am an independant contracter. Which I am not. I assumed that she was taking taxes out this whole time. What can I do about my status?? It is not correct. Also what does a 1099 have me do? What is my responsibility if I can not change my status? How much do I have to pay (%) ? Is it just federal and state taxes or also medicare and social security?? Please help!!
