I have a small clothing shop and two saleswomen. Because the opening hour is long so I divided it into two shifts and one for each. But because I have an attractive commision plan based on their sales, the girl in the morning shift would rather stay in the shop after her shift and work in the other's. Although they take the morning shift alternately, one still works more (and possibly sales more) than the other. Now the girl who works less (but still more than required) feels unfair and believes the other girl steals her business. Although as the shop owner I'd like to see this competation but the conflict will hurt the business in the long term. So is there any way to still keep their enthusiasm but turn the conflict into a not malignant one? Many thanks.

Wal-mart has located itself just out of town now no one visits the downtown area, most small businesses have gone under.

Kids leave just out of high school and never return.

Help! It's my home town and I'd like to see it survive!

I am considering doing some freelance editing and proofreading in my local community. I come across a lot of brochures and leaflets with spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors in my own letter box. Is it appropriate to send the leaflet, with errors highlighted, and a cover letter back to the originator advertising my services? Would this be considered rude?

I don't have a regular dentist right now but have toothaches in two teeth. Would most dentists be willing to squeeze you in on an emergency basis and do two extractions at your request on the same day as your phone call?

Other than to make herself more money. We consolidated a bunch of debt into a home equity loan. We were quite happy with 15 years. She offered a larger loan to consolidate more funds that dragged the payments out to 30 years with a higher interest rate and it was only 80 less than our combined payments with the 15 year loan.

I think she thought the 80 dollars could help us now and if we move and sell out house, our debts would be paid off anyway and we would have had that 80 a month extra. But that's only in the assumption that (a) we move within 15 years and (b) that we need more money later and refinance.

The difference in interest paid between the 30 year combined loan and the two 15 year loans was 183,000.

So, clearly...she was looking out to make her bank more money?

Money people...shed some light on this for me please?

The government want to add extra cost's the the selling process... These reports will cost about £500 and only last 6 months.... and even then they will not count as mortgage valuations or surveys... so buyer will still have to pay out for those...
It is Bureaucracy gone made trying to add another layers of costs to the general public....

80% first loan and a 20% second loan so theres no PMI, and u JUST made the income to debt ratio on the loan itself ( i have no credit debt or other loan debt and my credit score is above 750) and even though im not putting any money down ( i dont have any to put down) if i JUST made the debt to income ratio to be approved for the loan.....where do i get the money to pay the 10,000% closing cost, and escrow cost..... do sellers always pay all of it? what if the buyer doesnt want to pay any of it, or he only pays the (MINIMUM possible on his part.) it seems like alot of people can barely afford a house with no downpayment.....but even thought they are appoved based on the lenders debt to income ratio.....the taxes, home owners insurance, AND the closing cost.....now made it immposible to play. if i payed 10,000 for the closing cost, and the how ever 1,000's$ on taxes....then i dont make enuogh for the mortgage paymesnt that year...beciase the closing cost is soo high.

I am a PA. tax payer. I received a 1099-R from Ohio for an IRA that I cashed after my father passed away. Does this have to be reported to my PA. tax return and do I also have to pay estimated tax payments to Ohio for 2007? I use Turbotax. It changed my return from a $1500.00 refund for Pa to a $1100.00 payout. It also printed out 4 vouchers for tax payments to Ohio. Should I be paying taxes to both states?

to just take money out? if u already have a low fixed interest rate. is it possible, if u wanted to refinance to take money out you could, and ud end up taking alot of money out, BUT , instead you end up paying more montly payments that you were before? if i did try to refinance and it ended up making my monthly payments higher....doesnt that defeat the purpose of refinance? or is the money i take out worth it? i owned the house for almost a year, fixed low rate, paying interest only, but someone told me i could still reifnance to take money out before i plan to sell so that money i get back will be tax free since i plan on selling really fast.

what about when you also have a low fixed rate, but ur house appreciates 5% or higher? how does refinancing work with that? i heared about people refinancing and they end up paying a higher monthly payment and that confused me?
