Well do something about it and sign this petition.....

The government want to add extra cost's the the selling process... These reports will cost about £500 and only last 6 months.... and even then they will not count as mortgage valuations or surveys... so buyer will still have to pay out for those...
It is Bureaucracy gone made trying to add another layers of costs to the general public....

We will not a a choice ...like everything else under this govt.

So what ?

Average house down here about £300,000. 1.5% Estate Agents fees = £4,500 (if you are lucky - I know a lot expect 2% !).

Then there's the 3% rip-off tax = £9,000, legal & survey fees another £1,000+ not to mention Mortgage fees and actual moving van hire

So when it's going to cost £15,000+ to move, what's another £500 ?

Rather than move house and throw away £15k, a lot of people are just staying put and spending money on extenstions / improvements instead.
