Can US citizens own real estate in Canada? Primarily as rental properties.

I don't see why not. There are some properties in my area that are owned by US citizens.

Yes it is possible. In fact did you know that Canadians can and do own properties in the US? Most notably in Florida.

Yes, they can. Canada has that winning attitude. It does not stop people from investing in their country. There are no restrictions, no 51% Canadian ownership etc...

There are laws and you just have to abide by them. Like anyother country, I suppose. But you want to own land, cultivate or own land to build, you are more than welcome.

i doubt it i think they have the same type or rules if you were going to buy real estate in mexico.
