I want to start a business that has a lot of IT-related skill requirements. I do not have the money to hire that type of people, so I would be interested to find someone that will participate as a co-founder.

$250,000 house (that's the low end here), 2 car payments, some credit card debt, one school loan payment, various bills....nothing too crazy.

How much money would you need? How much should we be able to live on?

All UK homes for sale from June will require an inspection, I hear there is a huge shortage of Inspectors. Does anyone know if this is worth going into?

My wife worked part-time and only made about $10,100 last year. Should we file our tax returns separately? Because she made so little does that reduce her tax burden? Also, if we file separately can we both claim our son as a dependant?

If the appraisal comes in lower than the asking price of the seller. I know that the lender has the option and probably will regect the loan but is there anything that can be done so that we get this house?

I live in the UK, where real engineering seems to be dead...it all seems to have gone to the US or China. I'm on a really good wage, and am contemplating taking a research diploma that pays a 3rd of my current wage just to feel happy.

There must be something exciting going on in the UK?

Can they back out of giving the bonus??
I was told (via e-mail that i still have) that if i worked split shifts for 3 months, i would get a £500 bonus. Now, 1 week before they pay up, they have decided to anounce that if my atendace was less than 98% over the 3 months, they wont pay up.

The original E-mail had no mention of this, nor have they mentioned this before.

Can they do this??

The original e-mail had no mention of any terms&conditions, and i have not signed any form of contract about it

My husband has run almost £2000 overdraft and he says its not debt just an overdraft, nothing to worry about.

I am worried sick and I still see it as debt!

He had just finished paying a massive debt last year which took him over 10 years to pay off.

Now he's started a small one without telling me. I made him promise to tell me if he had any problems with money which he failed to do so.

I helped pay off a few of his urgent debts in the past.

I can't afford £2000 debt right now as things are different now we have young children and I'm unemployed.

I found this company that apparently travels around the states in a fleet of suvs and sells magazine subscriptions they pay for your ticket down to where ever they are at at the time and pay you while training then you make a commission based on how much you sell. and if at any time you dont like it they said you back to the city where you were hired from. does this sound 2 good 2 be true has anyone ever done something like this? is this a good chance for me to travel and see the states or is there some underline print that im not getting?

As my landlord is selling his flat and we don't know if the new landlord will want to keep us tennants on so I am keepin my options open... I seen a flat last night and its OK, it's not as nice as the one I'm in now but it's nice, and it's more spacious.. The room I would have isnt as big as my current but its a decent size with plenty of storage. And the girl that lives there is really really cool and she has a little dog, and I love dogs :D and I think me and the girl would really get on, we're kinda into the same things and we'd have a laugh plus it would only be us in the flat so no over crowding as there is 3/4 of us in my current flat and it's really small and it feels a bit over crowded some times! I'm not 100% sure of what to do though, Should I just give my notice in today and just go for it? It's roughly the same price and the area is nicer!
