Business & Finance - 25 January 2007

Hey... so i'm ready to get out on my own, and i want to move to a big city, I haven't really experienced any other cities other then boston or New York, but I loved both of them... I work for a cell phone comany so I don't make a tramendous amount of money... but I don't think I want to own a car... Where should i move to?

Once I went to an interview for CG artist position....I showed them my reel that consists mostly of my student works. The interviewer doesn't like my work said that my works is very weak, he doesn't like my work, and:

"well, actually I think it's not your fault. It's the school's fault. They only graduates you because you paid them big amount of money, so every year there's more and more incompetent designers coming out. And you actually spend so much money to go to college too."
Simply put, thats' the worst experience in all the interviews I've had.
But can you really snap back at the interviewer and tell him off right there and then?
I was really angry at the time, but managed to restrained myself from kicking his butt, and answer their question through a stiff lips.
Never the less, after all the insult, the person still have the guts to ask me whether I have any CG artist(s) friend I could recommend to work for them. I told them : NONE
What's to do actually?

i only made $500 from them and payed .64 cents to federal tax should i amend my taxes and add them i dont really know what the law says on that

I am planning on installing central air in my house in Denver this summer. It is a small all-brick house built in the 1940's. Some of the homes in the neighborhood have central air and others do not. The approximate value is $260,000. What kind of return on my investment can I get by adding air conditioning? i.e. when I sell the house, what percentage of the cost of installing the air will I recover?

They are developing an immune deficiency drug for cancer and infectious diseases. Right now they are trading around .67 cents a share. Some analysts are rating them as a moderate buy. Would it be too risky to put $1000.00 into them? What's your opinion?

My filing status was changed from Married/0 to Single/0 back in late January (I don't remember changing) and didn't realize until now on my W-2. Problem is no taxes were taken out ALL year! Isn't Single/0 the highest deduction or am I mis-informed? How can this be?????
