Both cities are great! Both are expensive to live in. But if you're young and aggressive, either would be fine. I used to live in NewYork (and for many years travel (for fun) to Boston 3 or 4 times a year).

The cell phone business is rough with less and less people making money. When I worked for Motorola, cell phones just came out. Back then many reps were well over 100K a year.

There are many fields you can get into to increase your income. If you settle for a job that has no future... that's exactly what you'll get.

Don't settle for less. Motivate yourself. Believe in yourself. Work hard.

Good luck!

Since I dont know you well there are some factors to take into account. Are you interested in the big city because of the excitement, culture, and art? Are you interested in making it big in the movies? Let me assume that you are into the culture of the Big City. In that case I recommend New York, Toronto, Phoenix. Just remember that life is more expensive in the bigger cities. If you dont make that much cash what will happen is that you will live there, but will not afford to do anything, and probably live on such a crappy side of the city you will be scared of leaving your apartment.

I think that before you move, you should check out Boston compared to New York and decide which one is more affordable for you. It sounds like either would be good for you since you like them both, but be wise and consider your budget. Also, I would check out the transportation situation. As both have good transportation, but when seeking housing you want to make sure you have good transportation connections. Also check out transportation fees and if you know where you will be working see if you are able to get a good housing location near your work site.

Good Luck

Considering your present circumstances, make sure it's a city that has plenty of public transportation. You also want to have plenty of job opportunities. New York and Boston are both good choices in that regard, but I'm sure they are expensive. Also, it helps if you already know someone there. I moved out when I was 18, and it helped tremendously because my sister was in a nearby area.

your best bet is to move to the central u.s. ohio is great, or an area around there, aybe near chicago, ... because the east coast, especially new york is going under here pretty soon, LITTERALY, so unless you want to be fighting for your life for sure.... and you will end up having to move because of the devastation anyways.. but... then also cali and those areas are going to be screwed so, best bet, is your central to west central u.s. good luck... plus areas like illinois and surrounding are the cheapest states in the u.s. so your cost of living is greatly decreased. ♥

Stay with New York. The subway system was planned way before the need for it.
