Go for the new flat - the girl there sounds great and can be a new friend for you. The flat sounds nice as does the room.
It is easy to stick at something too long just for a fear of change - you must know someone who has had the same job 20 years and hates it but won't move on. This is like that but you are not stuck in a rut yet - move before you find that a rut is in the road ahead.
Seriously go for it! I think you will have a great time and if you don't like it after 6 months then just move again! Good luck with this - I am sure you will make a good choice whatever you decide.

It's a big decision so you need to think it through carefully. My first instinct would be for you to move. The way you talk about the other flat is very positive, you did not mention anything about it that does not appeal to you. Also if the new landlord does decide that he does not want tenants you do not want to be stressed and in a rush to find a new place as you might not find one as nice as the new one you have found already.

if the flats bigger and better and you seem too get on with the girl go for it,but and its a big but,its ok meeting someone just once, you might think you will get on,but you could move in and you find she has anoying habits, etc, but its up too you
the new landlord cannot kick you out,so dont worry about that, you have tnents rights,he would have too take you too court, its called sit in right,or something,
you sound young,so really you have nothing too loose,if you move in the new flat, and you dont get on,you can easliy move again,or you can stay in your current flat, and risk your new landlord putting up your rent,or wanting you out, which like i said would have too take you too court first,
you could always ask your current lodgers, too keep your room open, that you are having a trial run in your new place, say give it 6wks,and if you dont get on,see if you can move back in with them,if they are good friends then i dont see why not, unless its the rent thats an issue, but they could always get a mate in tempory,i know thats a hassle,
i think the best thing too do is follow your heart, your young, and theres no good thinking what if,etc,so i think you should go for it,and if it dosnt work, well then just move on

I dont know about the laws over the place you are living but in India the landlord cannot sel the flat if a tennant is there.....and he also cannot drive him out of the flat force fully if the alway the rent is paid in time......

Obviously it has to be your own choice but from what you've said you are going to be living in a nicer area and you get along with the girl you would be living with. Maybe go back to visit her again just to make doubly sure before you commit to handing in your notice with your current landlord! Good luck :)

Go for it girl, sounds great, life has to move on, grow girl grow, more space, less peeps, nice area, nice company, WHY are you wasting time asking us, just do it, and if any thing goes wrong, just blame it all on me, but if every thing goes magically, blame that all on me, really sounds great, and a wee doggy thrown in as well, you have got it made girl, go go go.

It sounds like you've already made you're mind up, just need the confidence to go for it. So I agree if you don't you may be left with little time to find a place.

By the sounds of it you've already answered you're own question. Better to pick something you like now then to wait and end up making a rushed decision.
