I did a job for someone and she keeps asking me how much she owes me, but I don't want to tell her to give me $150. I can't figure out why I feel this way. How can I stop feeling this way?

I know that if you don't pay your restaurant bill, you are required to wash the dishes in order to make up the cost. However since the regular dishwashers are still employed and therefore earning a salary, how does the restaurant owner recover his cost from the non payee?

I'd be curious as to your opinion of this fund since it seems to be a "do it all for you" fund.

me and my boyfriend are thinking about getting married but my past credit history is making him nervous. we really want to get married but he has almost perfect credit and i have really really bad credit and a lot of debt from mistakes when i was younger. if we have a prenup saying that he is not liable for any of my debt will taht work to protect him? and will my credit effect his once we get married or is there a way to keep it seperate? does this only work in certain states/cases? i really want to marry him and i know its going to take me a while to pay off my debts, and i definatly dont want it to effect him since its not his responsibility. thanks!!!!!!

For example, a sony digital camera was stolen which was bought for 300 pounds, approx. 5 years ago. It was a high-end model 'at the time'. The insurance company want to replace it with a similar spec camera which is the entry level today. Camera technology evolves so quickly that they become dated very quickly. The equivalent 'high-end' sony camera today is approx. 400 pounds.
What can i do? (I also had a 6yr old hp latop stolen - bought for 2000pounds. Same spec. laptop today - 600pounds. Is this 'like-for-like'? Is there a difference between 'like-for-like' and 'new-for-old' policies?)

I'm in college in Boston, MA. But technically, my legal residence is in New York. I only worked in Mass, do I need to file a return in MA, NY, both? If both, do I claim no income in NY? Or do I claim what I made in MA.

Ok, i am wondering, i Efiled my taxes online, and the Efile was accepted by IRS Jan 13th. The company i went through emailed me once IRS had accepted and said i would have my return Jan 26th. When i checked the IRS website, however, they said BY jan 30th....not a big difference, but do you think i will recieve the refund the 26th like the company i filed through advised, or by the 30th like the IRS website indicates? Also, has anyone ever efiled online and recieved their refund later or earlier then told?

Some folks can't get credit; some can't get jobs because of this system. If it was fair maybe the playing field between the haves and the have not’s would be more level. What do you think ? Do we have to have this system in place as it is or should it be tweaked to make up for the computer and paper mistakes, Stolen identities and the other big problems effecting the peoples right to get a loan? People don't have AAA credit anymore, not the low income ones; they may have 600 points tops if they've never been divorced or truly sick.

I had a loan related to a business purchase about 3 years ago.
Business name and my name were listed as a debtor in Uniform Commercial Code of New York State.
5 Months ago, I paid off and asked for a letter that all debts were paid off.
I've asked a number of times by phone & letter without getting any good response.
My name is still shown on UCC report.
I am concern that this kind of information would hurt my credit and make difficult for me to get another loan later time.

My questions are:

1) Where and what kind of legal action I can do to clear off my record WITHOUT lawyer ?

2) Anything I can ask for compensation for this kind of negligence?
It's been causing me a great deal of pressure and burden which I am supposed to be free from those, instead.

I'd appreciate your advice in advance.

P.S: If necessary, you can email me your advice at sheffield322w@yahoo.com
